Director Dealing - Exercise of Share Options

EMIS Group plc ("the Company") announces that on 11 April 2017 the Company was notified that Chris Spencer, Chief Executive Officer, had exercised an option over 25,229 ordinary shares of one pence each ("Ordinary Shares") granted at nil cost under the Company's Long Term Share Incentive Award and awarded on 16 January 2014 (which had been the subject of performance conditions).

The Company was also notified that Chris Spencer subsequently sold 11,858 Ordinary Shares at a price of GBP9.13 per Ordinary Share to fund the tax liabilities associated with the exercise. These Ordinary Shares were acquired by JY Trustees Limited on behalf of the EMIS Group plc Employee Benefit Trust.

Following this transaction Chris Spencer has a total beneficial holding of 301,627 Ordinary Shares representing 0.48% of the Company's issued share capital.
