Epiris receives GBP67 million from the sale of RISI

Further to the announcement of 3 March 2017, Epiris is pleased to announce that Electra Private Equity PLC ("Electra") has received proceeds of GBP67 million from AXIO Group ("AXIO") in relation to the sale of RISI.

Following receipt of regulatory approvals, the sale of RISI to Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC for $125 million completed on 6 April 2017. The sale is the sixth major realisation from AXIO's portfolio and takes total cash proceeds received by Electra from its investment in AXIO to almost GBP420 million, or 4.6x original cost, and the total return, including Electra's investment in the remainder of the AXIO Group, including TechInsights, to more than 5x original cost.
