   Issue of Equity - Correction 
 
   The announcement released by the Company at 22:24 on 5 April 2017 
contained an error in the statement of the number of shares issued. The 
correct number of Generalist Shares issued is 10,449,221 (and not 
10,449,466 as originally stated) and the correct number of Healthcare 
Shares issued is 1,593,176 (and not 1,593,419 as originally stated). The 
full corrected text of the announcement is as follows. 
 
   The Directors of Downing FOUR VCT plc announce allotments on 5 April 
2017 of Generalist Shares of 0.1p each ("Generalist Shares") and 
Healthcare Shares of 0.1p each ("Healthcare Shares") pursuant to the 
Offers for Subscription that opened on 8 December 2016 ("Offers") as 
follows: 
 
   10,449,221 Generalist Shares at an average price of 104.04p; and 
 
   1,593,176 Healthcare Shares at an average price of 102.74p. 
 
   Application for the shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK 
Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market 
for listed securities will be made shortly. Dealings are expected to 
commence on or around 12 April 2017.
