Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

1pm plc (AIM: OPM), the AIM listed independent specialist provider of finance facilities to the SME sector, is pleased to announce that James Roberts has today been appointed to the Board as the Company's Chief Financial Officer to take effect from 1(st) May 2017.

James Matthew Arthur Roberts, aged 39, brings extensive financial and commercial experience to the Group. Having qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, James has held senior management and directorship roles across a number of financial services firms including Jelf Financial Planning Limited, Horatio Investments Limited, The Bitesize FD Ltd and Cooper Gay (Holdings) Limited. Currently the Finance Director at Catalyst Business Finance Limited, a company which provides invoice and loan financing in the alternative finance sector for growing UK SMEs, James also has responsibility for the IT, HR, Operations and Credit departments.

In June 2016, the Company announced that Helen Walker, the current Finance Director, will be leaving the Company's employment on 31(st) May 2017. Helen will work with James to effect an orderly handover of duties.
