15 December 2016
Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne, Plc announces that on 14 December 2016 they declared a
final dividend for the year ended 31st October 2016. This is following a review
of the provisional unaudited accounts for the year ended 31st October 2016.
The Board of Directors have declared a dividend at the rate of 21.0 pence per
share (2015, 18.0 pence) to be paid in two instalments:
* 7.0 pence per share (2016, 6.0 pence) on Thursday 19th January 2017 to
shareholders on the register on Friday 23rd December 2016. The ex-dividend
date will be Thursday 22nd December 2016; and
* 14.0 pence per share (2016, 12.0 pence) on Thursday 4th May 2017 to
shareholders on the register on Friday 21st April 2017. The ex-dividend
date will be Thursday 20th April 2017.
This reflects consistency in the timing of payments with prior years, and the
increased profit expected for the year, subject to audit, and the company's
significant cash position.
The Directors of the Company accept responsibility for the content of this
announcement.
