Substantial Transaction

Mercer, the investing company that is seeking to invest in opportunities within the natural resources, energy and precious metals sectors, is pleased to provide an update to shareholders.

Mercer has acquired 90,950 Ordinary Shares of $US0.2 in Zoltav Resources Inc ("Zoltav"), for a total consideration of GBP110,000 that will be met from the Company's existing cash resources and constitutes a Substantial Transaction under the AIM Rules.

Zoltav is an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on acquiring assets in the CIS, particularly in the Russian Federation. Zoltav's shares are traded on AIM and further details on Zoltav may be found on their website www.zoltav.com. As at 15 July 2014 Zoltav had in issue 141,805,386 Ordinary Shares of $US0.2.

Shareholders are further advised that the Board remains optimistic that Mercer will be in a position to make a further investment, or investments, in due course, in line with its investing policy, constituting a reverse takeover subject to shareholder approval.

The Board will continue to keep shareholders updated as appropriate.
