Globo Continues North American Expansion

Adds new office in Silicon Valley to spearhead business growth

Globo Plc (LSE-AIM: GBO), the global provider of enterprise mobility management and mobile application development platforms and services, today announced its new office in Palo Alto, California. This comes soon after Globo’s CEO, Costis Papadimitrakopoulos moved to the Bay Area to provide strategic focus to U.S. and Canadian businesses.

The new location adds to Globo’s existing presence in New York City, R&D center in Canfield, Ohio, and the San Francisco office of Sourcebits, the design and development company Globo acquired in June of this year. Globo also has international presence in Athens, Bangalore, Dubai, Limassol, London and Singapore.

Dimitris Protogirou, COO – North America, said the new location was strategically chosen to help the company recruit and retain the best talent and serve its growing North American customer base.

Globo was recently added as the only new entrant in 2014 in the influential Gartner Magic Quadrant report for Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM). The report was overhauled this year to include enterprise mobility solutions providers with a wider offering. In addition, Globo’s GO!Enterprise solution was highlighted in Ovum’s Decision Matrix report as having the unique ability to provide both EMM and Mobile App Development Platform (MADP) that can be used by companies and developers to build, test and deploy applications across all types of mobile handsets.
