NEW YORK, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Many want a new computer or a flat screen TV this holiday. But for kids living in the Salvation Army shelter, the wishes there are a little more basic. Children participated in the "My Holiday Wish Program," a project designed to bring money and attention to the plight of the nation's most underprivileged families. The children expressed what's truly important in life. They wanted the kinds of things that all of us have taken for granted. Some of the photos were chosen to be made into greeting cards. The young photographers featured in the "My Holiday Wish" greeting cards live in Salvation Army shelters in Orlando, Fla. and Raleigh, N.C.
