                              NOTIFIABLE INTEREST

The Company was informed by a letter dated 17 March 2003 that Schroder
Investment Management Limited has an interest in 2,354,857 ordinary shares in
the Company.  The shares are held in portfolios managed by Schroder Investment
Management Limited on a discretionary basis for clients under investment
management agreements.

The Company was also informed that, of those 2,354,857 ordinary shares in the
Company, 20,000 ordinary shares are registered or to be registered in the name
of Schroder Nominees Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary nominee company of
Schroder Investment Management Limited), 2,294,617 ordinary shares are held in a
unit trust(s) operated and managed by an affiliated company, Schroder Unit
Trusts Limited, and registered or to be registered in the name of Chase
Nominees, and 40,240 ordinary shares registered or to be registered in the name
of Schroder Nominees.

The Company was further informed that Schroder Investment Management Limited,
and it's holding company, Schroders plc, now has an interest in 2,354,857
ordinary shares, representing 13.071% of the total number of shares in issue.
