Retirement of Director

Home Entertainment announces that, in line with her plan to step down during
2003, Diane Gardner, Director, retires on 30 May.  Diane was one of the three
founding directors of Home Entertainment.

Iain Muspratt, Chairman and Chief Executive, commented: "Diane is a
long-standing colleague and friend who has played a crucial role in the
development of the Company.  On behalf of everyone at Home Entertainment, I want
to extend our sincere thanks for Diane's valuable contribution over the past 18
years and wish her well for the future."

Diane was responsible for Video Box Office Division, Group head office property
and logistics, and personnel.  Over the last year, Anthony Skitt and Steve
Barker have progressively taken over those responsibilities.

Diane's close association with the Company will continue and she will remain a
major shareholder.
