Your information is inaccurate there. They were all bought sub 30p, the potential talks re a bid for Innovaderma forced a disclosure.

Well, it appears they bought CRL at the top of the market at around 120p in Feb 2021 , if that helps.

ZYT's thoughts about the tech trends we can expect to see in our homes in the near future, including:

Extract:

"The launch of new consumer technologies like Zytronic’s ElectroglaZ, which allows for transparent power delivery through a pane of glass, opens even further possibilities down the line for furniture applications in homes. Ian Crosby, Sales & Marketing Director at Zytronic, commented: “ElectroglaZ is completely transparent and can be used to ‘magically’ power a near-limitless variety of low power, electronic and electrotechnical devices embedded within a glass panel. Potential smart-furniture applications include everything from ‘floating’ lighting systems to glass room dividers featuring embedded hub screens, speakers or fans.”

ZYT expanding in the USA:

H

"Nov. 10, 2022

Zytronic PLC, a U.K.-based provider of touch solutions, has teamed with AGDisplays, a Greensburg, Pennsylvania-based touchscreen design and integration specialist, to expand its footprint in North America, according to a press release.

AGDisplays uses Zytronic projected capacitive technology in situations where longevity and/or ruggedization and performance are needed.

AGDisplays often recommend ink-screened perimeters on the coverglass to allow the customer to use the PCAP as their finished aesthetics and eliminate the need for a bezel on the face of their unit.

"Whether we are developing a rugged solution and looking for a PCAP that will function in harsh environments or looking to design a solution that will have superior longevity, we prefer to design with a Zytronic touch sensor," Mike Faryna, vice president at AGDisplays, said in the press release."

I've been told that the company's reporting schedule isn't being changed, so we are on for results in early/mid December.

I take that to mean that bit when early December moves toward being called mid-December and we will get something in week commencing 5th or early in week commencing 12th.

Thank you for the link to the research dimknaf, and I hope that you have a productive discussion,

I've on;y read the paper very quickly and I fairly much agree with most of it. Very comprehensive, Perhaps the one thing I didn't find in there is the discussion of Zytronics OEM customer base - but I may have missed it. Zytronics performance is highly dependant upon being designed into OEM units that then sell well in the market. This can produce a very good year - but it also contributes to customer concentration. Right at the moment I think that they are coming off the back of one product lifecycle and it will be a while before new design wins take up the slack,

In the short term with ZYT customers destocking I am not expecting a rapid recovery. Though things can turn around rapidly so timing is impossible to estimate. With award winning products now on the market to be sold into new OEM designs there is the prospect of very good growth from current revenue and margins.

Plenty of patience is required. Zytonic remains one of my largest holdings. I would be buying more if I had funds available,

cheers

I don't think any institutions are left. The 145p tender offer last year took out the last two. I think all other companies reporting a holding are the nominee accounts of their stock brokerage arms.

Good news: no instis to reduce, Bad News: This is very much open to the emotional rollercoaster of the marginal PI holder!

At 110/115 and with current exchange rates this cash rich company with a very geographically diversified customer base looks an attractive buy.
It has one advantage in that it seems to have very few instis on their share register. My concern is in the current environment some funds will want in Lynton Crosby's phrase to clear the barnacles off the boat and sell down their smaller holdings so they can focus on the big picture.
I note that little trading..in the first three days of the week the volume was 10 k then 7k and today 3k.
I take the point that based on the 7.2eps in the 12 months to 3/22 and the current share price is about 15x so in that sense not cheap.

There ought to be a full year trading update in 3-4 weeks.

Trading update in Aug mentioned an expected cash balance of £6m and PBT > £0.5m. This against a market cap now under £12m, not to mention the property assets.

Certainly lots of progress being made with their various partners from what I can glean from social media and other channels. Certainly very cheap now.

At 110/115 and at current exchange rate this cash rich company with sales a wide geographic area is v attractively priced.
The Board must be kicking themselves that they did the buy back at such high prices.
I have to admit that I am in a funk and for the time being do not have the courage of my convictions.

Sp = 115p (mid)
Net cash ~70p per share.
Trading update around end of month (=FY end) or news of further buy-back intention would seem sensible at this price.
Worth watching out for.

"Engineering firm teams with Zytronic on interactive totems for transit hubs

Aug. 30, 2022

Travelers at airports, railway stations and other transit hubs will have easy access to up-to-the-minute information at their fingertips thanks to fixed and mobile interactive totems and wall mounted displays provided by L.B. Foster, a global engineering solutions provider, in partnership with Zytronic, a provider of touch technology, according to a press release.

L.B. Foster's 43-inch Inform units leverage of Zytronic's multitouch projected capacitive touch technology supplied by Display Technology Ltd., Zytronic's U.K. distributor.

The LCD displays feature Zytronic's multitouch controller to provide millisecond, all-weather performance.

The touch sensors are made from printed 6mm thermally tempered glass with a laminated rear polyester film, delivering impact resistance and anti-spalling in the event of breakage. The glass has an antiglare etched finish for better image display visibility in direct sunlight and the touchscreens also incorporate UV blocking and IR reducing filters to help protect the underlying LCD from sunlight damage and assist the overall system thermal management.

L.B. Foster's touchscreen mobile totem is designed to go through standard doorways and is capable of running for 24 hours on a single charge from its built-in batteries with wireless connectivity to allow operators to manage content in real-time.

There is also the facility for operators to locate their assets and check battery power status remotely, and an NFC optional upgrade allows users to take away information on their smartphones.

The graphical user interface software also includes "signing" for customers with hearing impairments."

I see that Singers put out a note yesterday following the TU of the other week.
They retain a buy but have reduced the 12 month target price from 250p to 190p and have initiated forecasts for 22/23 with PBT stable at £0.5m which-correctly for me-they categorize as cautious.
My gut tells me to increase my holding but not sure if I will do anything.

It's a poor trading update. Revenues are barely budged and the company is making the same profit as in 2020. That's not called progress!

Cerrito,

“they will have a cash outflow of £1.5m in H2“

They spent c £2m on share buybacks to counter this drop from £7.5 to £6m cash at hand
