Surely Tetrapak and others are working on similar materials and have more money to throw at the problem. £6m is chicken feed to the big players in this market. Isn't hiring someone from Tetrapak more likely to be for their skills and knowledge rather than as a bridge to a deal?

Soft drinks markets around the world may be large but they are also fiercely competitive. Will be very interested to see who the partner is for ZTF. Could be a good lever to hold against Tetrapak for whoever has taken the lead role. Will surely want a period of exclusivity if they are a sizeable player, though reference to talking to several others suggests not. Negotiation works both ways I guess.

Can see this being 'sold' or licenced to partners if successful. Fingers crossed.

Tetra Pak are building dedicated recycling centres around the world where there is not a facility to handle their multi layered cartons. Most recent in Poland.Expensive and intensive process I would imagine.Simplicity of RZ is you throw it in the respective bin with the rest of the plastic and there is no requirement to have it transported miles to these specialists.

didn't he say they hired someeone from tetrapack? that would make sense as a way of getting them onside?

Watching the show,DS held the carton and said 'It looks like a carton and.....'. I expected him to say it feels like a carton, but he didn't. I have read that originally the surface had a different kind of texture, but that had been largely solved. If it ever was a problem, wouldn't bother me,possibly a better grip.

Tetra Pak can't compete with a product like RZ.Legislation and companies wanting green credentials will lead the way.Expect some sparks with the incumbent.

How about Tetra Pak,the elephant in the room. The evolution of the carton is upon us.I can see the light.

Yeah - but what is it's value is the hard question? With £6m sunk into it - I would hope it should be worth a large multiple of that... any other similar product launches we can compare to understand the potential?

decent call. if you own it, i cannot understand selling it until the rezorce situation unfolds.

ali47fish because of the dividend yield, as there is not likely to be much growth in the share price at these levels imo.

After dividend payment, I expect further weakness.

so why doesn't the market take that on board with the share price down

Very common for management to be cautious. That said Nike exclusively and revenue visibility until 2029 and the agreement in place with Rezorce which could be as previously stated as big as the market cap today think the company is completely undervalued

If you deduct the 2mm loss from Rezorce, the PE would be <15.

Good management always offer caution. Decent results and called out aviation as looking strong going forward...

Just a brief scan of the results and an impressive start but notes are the winds of caution for the full year.

So a bit more profit taking I reckon and a bit of weakness in the share price
