28/5/2014 12:41 | The Unilever announcement has lead to a number of other inquiries about the technology. The pricing for the index changes is at the close on June 3, with the index inclusion price set at the closing auction on June 20, look for massive volume then, the stock will be order driven by then so if you are trading use a limit on the board. | exbroker
27/5/2014 12:52 | Spread closed a tad with that tick up on the bid. Nothing on offer less than 285 :)) | battlebus2
27/5/2014 09:45 | Yep it looks that way Ali with a 10p spread. Not sure when the trackers will start buying but i suspect it will be a little closer to the time. | battlebus2
25/5/2014 22:31 | Hi BB2 hope all is well. I did get my order filled so pleased to see the rise. I hadn't read the upgrade from Investec so thanks for posting. How will we know those tracker funds are buying? I'm guessing with the spread they don't want buyers. Ali. | investali
25/5/2014 21:25 | Don't think it's been mentioned here yet but Investec raised their target price from 185 to 300p and have an add rating. This is very positive from a broker that had an undemanding rating for now to be citing boost price target as an action. With the current market cap of 112 million it seems almost sure we will get promotion with the cut off date the 4th of June and a 100.8 million cut off. Changes take place on Monday 23rd of June. Woodcutter as far as i'm aware they did already work for Unilever but as this is a new technology they will add it to other ranges so new business. They have sole rights until January 2015 then we can really benefit as i expect others to follow suit. Revenue from the MEL side of the business is starting from a low base at 1.6 million though with the royalties based on savings that figure could rocket over the next two years. Unilever said it intended to widen the availability of the technology and would be waiving specific exclusivity rights by January next year, "so that other manufacturers can start to use it across their brands and products". Paul Howells, Unilever's vice president R&D packaging, said: "Working with our two partners, we've created a unique technology that will transform our portfolio. "But there's only so much that Unilever can achieve on our own; by opening up access to other manufacturers we will really start to see an impact. We very much hope that our peers in the industry will take advantage of this technology too and apply it to their products." Mark Lindenfelzer, president of MuCell Extrusion, said: "While consumers won't see any difference in the bottles, the impact on the environment will be very real. "We're delighted to be part of this development and believe that it marks a real shift for manufacturers who want to behave responsibly." Holland-based Unilever said packaging made using the technology would remain 100% recyclable. | battlebus2
23/5/2014 10:45 | A few buyers this morning, could test new highs. | battlebus2
23/5/2014 08:08 | Morning all, Good to see you here Ali, looks like you got your order filled this morning with that tick up?. As Exbroker says not long before the trackers start buying. Wouldn't this be the optimal time to release a good news article. | battlebus2
22/5/2014 20:47 | Interesting exbroker. Trying to buy below ask today but never got my order filled. Seems those market making types have caught on. Roll on the promotion. Ali. | investali
20/5/2014 16:38 | Its good for credibility being in the index, its opens door with the small cap investor community as well as some of the bigger houses. | exbroker
20/5/2014 16:20 | Joyous news Exbroker. Bought my first today. Ali. | investali
20/5/2014 14:41 | Most important news of the day is that FTSE have confirmed it has PASSED this years liquidity test, and given the current market cap will go into the All share index in June. Roll on tracker buying, next stop £3. I have many many shares....... | exbroker
19/5/2014 09:16 | Well i thought about buying back in here when it dropped around the 170pish mark a while back but sadly didn't press the buy button. b2 do you know if this new contract/development is replacing an existing contract or is it something completely new. If the former then the recent share price rise possibly looks a little over cooked. On the other hand if the latter then it could be a massive boost to eps. Mainly in cash at present and no intention of adding, even ZTF, after such a rise but would be interested to know on the contract. Woody | woodcutter
19/5/2014 07:19 | Promising update this morning :)) | battlebus2
25/4/2014 18:52 | Thanks Gleach, I had a target price of £3 but I'm not planning on selling until I see how this new development goes. Can't sell my old favourite!! I've been selling most of my holdings too and also plan to move house to be closer to a relative who needs 24/7 care. Currently travelling nearly 3hrs each time. Hope your also keeping well. | battlebus2
25/4/2014 18:25 | Glad it came good for you here battlebus. Do you have a target price or will you just run your profit, possibly with a trailing stop loss?I've sold down most of the portfolio recently as it's needed for a deposit on a house but hadn't been in these for over a year anyway. Hope your health's improved too :) | gleach23
23/4/2014 15:35 | Market are all short after the run they have had, a pause for breath would be a good thing here. | exbroker
23/4/2014 15:17 | No stock around ATM :)) | battlebus2
23/4/2014 15:05 | moving big on miniscule volume | emeraldzebra

23/4/2014 10:59 | #goingplaces | fruitninja84
23/4/2014 09:55 | The deal is that they get a percentage payment of the value of plastic saved, so if Unilever use it on all the packaging lines it could be huge, also it will put pressure on the other players to adopt, both from a cost point and from an environmental point. I don't have specific numbers as the company wont tell any one. | exbroker
23/4/2014 09:23 | not sure I fully appreciated the significance of this announcement; well done to those who bought more; Im just pleased I hadn't sold any of mine! | janeann
23/4/2014 08:49 | bought yest evening i mean | emeraldzebra
23/4/2014 08:47 | yep - i bundled in big time today having made the mistake of selling some at 2.30 some time back. hope the long term story will be a good progressive one. | emeraldzebra
22/4/2014 16:29 | Thx exbroker. Great finish to the day :)) | battlebus2 |
