01/1/2011 13:37 | Happy new year ztf fans. as Blackrock know this has a lot to give in 2011. | battlebus2
22/12/2010 17:57 | Blackrock still bullish... | kimball808
21/12/2010 22:46 | This has a target price of 160p. It's only 20p away from what we are. To some people is clearly not enough as they look for so called 'ten baggers' and other nonsense like 'double or nothing'. If the target for it was 260p, this would be flying today. Even on this forum some suggested 180p or so before, which now is pie in the sky. | phate1313
21/12/2010 15:14 | Hi CR, There's a lot to like about ZTF and I do hold some (though wasn't able to get as many as I wanted at 130/132 recently). I was refering to earlier comments reagarding a rationale as to why the shares had fallen back a little on the trading statement. As your're aware they did 6.0p in the first half and I beleive consensus is 8.6 for the year so it is mildly disappointing that they're not ahead of that. Polymer prices though static in H2 are higher than last year so volumes may have been static in 4th quarter if they've passed on those rises to customers. I will check comparables with Q3/Q4 2009 but personally feel less inclined to add after the statement than before it. HPP still growing quickly tho. | cockerhoop
21/12/2010 13:10 | HB Markets - 21/12/10: Zotefoams (LON:ZTF) (ZTF, 143p, £54.76m) Trading statement for the year ending December 2010 confirms trading is in-line with expectations, Q4 sales being up some 7% on the comparable period last year. Results will be in line with sales up 20% for the year with strong sales from the Azote range especially in Asia and High Performance polymers (HPP) up 50% with margins aided by stable LDPE raw material prices in H2. Investors will focus on the outlook for next year with forecasts of some £4.6m with 8.9p EPS, putting the group on 16x. We do see modest upside to some 18x over the year so we maintain the BUY with a price target of 160p. | simon gordon
21/12/2010 08:56 | Clearly if your're growing at 26% revenue for the 1st 3 quarters of the year (as per IMS) and 7% for the final quarter (todays statement) some would see the falloff in sales growth as disappointing. | cockerhoop
21/12/2010 08:44 | Sand - Isn't it just the usual story of those who bought in on the recent dip, and who were no doubt hoping for even more in the T/S, leaving the scene with a quick buck. The T/S is excellent and ZTF ought to reward those with a bit more patience in the longer term - I hope! | 1964steve
21/12/2010 08:28 | 'In line' is never enough for the market. On the sell off now. Makes you laugh. | phate1313
21/12/2010 08:26 | It's a perfectly respectable trading statement prior to what no doubt will be a solid trading statement on Dec 31st. ...Hard to see why this is being caned today. What have they done wrong? | sandbank
21/12/2010 07:20 | They say 'Overall sales growth for the year is expected to exceed 20%' which I read as beating expectations. Forecast to do Revenue £37,100 in 2010 they did £31,816 in 2009. To do 20% makes full year revenue of £38,179. So that to me reads as a beat on top line...as for bottom line, well that is your in line...views? | kimball808
14/12/2010 22:48 | Yes delayed trades could have possibly cleared the supply to pave the way for a rise to new highs in the region of 200p. A small amount of relevance may also be attributed to the unfilled gap between 155p-200p! | matt123d
14/12/2010 12:57 | PS - did you see the large delayed trades of yesterday and today? CR | cockneyrebel
14/12/2010 12:42 | Forecasts are for 8.9p but they did 6p eps in H1 so the chances of beating that looks decent imo. The important thing is it's the high performace speciality foams that are growing the fastest, that's why Blackrock are investing heavy in ZTF apparently. I'd have thought many co's want to get to year end before saying how well they had dome so the IMS said enough for that point imo. CR | cockneyrebel
14/12/2010 09:57 | sorry paulieb, CR might be able to do that for you, I'm only a chartist. | chester
13/12/2010 13:49 | Sorry chester, have you got broker forecasts for this baby? | paulieb
