Posted at 18/12/2024 08:31 by money never sleeps Retail investors like us know it best when people wonder why the environment is so shafted. And all the while we must keep suffering all the BS spouted by the Big brand corporate execs. I feel sorry for our kids. It is truly laughable. |
Posted at 04/11/2024 15:23 by james188 We know from the Q&A following the release of the Interims that ZTF has already invested over £20 million in ReZorce (plus significant management time) - and counting. That is a very large sum for a company the size of ZTF and it is in addition to a series of investments to upgrade a number of ZTF's facilities and the recent investment of circa £9 million in licensing fees under the Shincell deal.It is hardly surprising to learn that ZTF is likely to scale back on further investment in ReZorce having brought it to this point. We haven't had a recent update on the all-important trials, but we do know that ZTF has already acquired the foaming machines needed for those trials, so I am guessing that the trials are currently in progress. Investors were never going to get a blow by blow account of discussions with potential strategic investors. If the trials prove successful, that will strengthen ZTF's negotiating position. The tricky bit is and will be keeping momentum going whilst scaling back on the level of ongoing investment. I can understand why the new CEO wants to focus on exploiting opportunities in the core business, which should deliver a more immediate payback. I liked his comment that ZTF is intending to strengthen its organisation with key appointments expected by the year end to build up capability. |
Posted at 04/11/2024 12:25 by hydrus The broker note reads positively with a target price of 615p and on a PE of c11 now for 2025. Bit of a whiff of panic here which is odd. Guess investors nerves are frayed currently anyway! |

Posted at 31/10/2024 08:08 by gleach23 There is a Financial Calendar on the Investors section of the company's website. When I checked it earlier this week it had 31 October 2024 listed for a Trading Update but it has since been removed. |
Posted at 03/9/2024 06:50 by redartbmud I am a long term investor and believer in the business. It would appear that we are on the cusp of something with the potential to be a game changer with ReZorse. But awards are great, as long as they result in orders! red |

Posted at 03/8/2024 10:06 by money never sleeps For me, the amusing part is that I have transitioned to safer stock investing after making too many mistakes over the years investing in blue sky opportunities ..... only to then stumble across probably the best blue sky opportunity i've ever found. IMO Paul Scott is a smart investor. On one recent podcast he said this was the biggest holding in his portfolio. |
Posted at 24/5/2024 14:33 by james188 I don't think that David Stirling's ongoing role with ZTF until the end of October is directly linked to the time that it will take to tie up arrangements with an investment partner (or partners). We know that ZTF is only now starting to invite expressions of interest from potential investors and I would expect it to take some time before preferred partners are identified and then several months before negotiations are completed. It is going to be a complex process and investors will also want to conduct detailed due diligence on ReZorce. If ZTF get to agreed heads of terms (or better) by end December this year, I think that that would be good going. We have also been told that David Stirling will be helping out with work to develop the Shincell relationship, where ZTF has promised an update at the time of its August interims. I wouldn't be surprised if David Stirling has an involvement in these two projects (and ReZorce in particular) beyond end October and I think that it would be good news for shareholders if that happens. All the above is going to consume a lot of management time and - in the case of ReZorce - it has to be fitted in around the demands for the core business. The company will inevitably need to increase its spend on external advisors - e.g. financial (Mazzone & Associates), legal and technical both here, in the US and potentially elsewhere depending upon how discussions with potential investors progress. It basically needs to create a new business plan covering the core and non-core businesses. Exciting times, but considerable challenges. |
