But as things are ZOL are only producing gas that they are obliged to sell inside Russia.
They of course do have oil assets but discount price of oil re earnings.

Still holding so not deramping etc.

My best guess is that someone like Arkadiy Abramovich is buying personally into Zoltav Resources at this low level. ARA Capital hold 39.62% with the same held by Bandbear - there appears to be an agreement. Increasing this can only be done outside of the two companies and with few shares available trickle buying looks a great option here.
From the point of view of Roman Abramovich it is only pocket money to make a move here. I suspect a lot of thinking and pondering going on behind the scenes.

My personal view is the shares are still worth 75p each really with rising gas prices and improved oil prices.

Don't be fooled as gas and electricity prices, as well as oil have risen in price over the last 15 months. There just wont be gas and oil pipeline sanctions as Italy, France and Germany have high prices for electricity especially Germany and Italy. Russia is key to Germany's engineering industry and although there are undoubted political and security issues there are other countries particularly China who have an increasingly close partnership with Russia.

Others here know more than I do about Zoltav. Sadly a few have vanished and probably hit bt the share price drop.

Like the biggest and strongest elephant in the jungle Putin will not rule for ever.

It is possible that an oil major might want to get a 20% to 25% interest in Zoltav Resources.
Looking at the gold sector buyins by Newmont this oil sector interest might well be similar. Perhaps an offer for 20% by investing at a price of £1.00 a share and buying in on a large percentage of one of Zoltav's projects by investing cash into it.
Zoltav's shares are embarrassingly cheap and that puts them into the beyond ridiculous category.

With the current climate the UK authorities will not allowed this company to grow , almost certainly it will be wear off . Abram does have access to super assets as it was demonstrated with some copper deposits that were sold to Kaz plc , worth £600 mln so much that it scarred Kaz investors . It is pointless for Zol to be listed on LSE and they know this . Better to do business via China , Hong Kong listing and try to grow business there . However US sanctions might try to reach Zol even there with their whip but China is huge and the market there is enough for Zol . Unless they have super plan !!!!!

Another day of red we missed.

I just hope Daddy doesn't throw his dummy out the pram and decide to screw UK investors in revenge (the 6 of us that are left). Tongue in cheek obviously.

Our relations with Russia carry on deteriating, with great understanding, as it's a disgrace. This is something that does reallt worry me though. Any thoughts anyone?
