yes mate, im still in Opti, wil check out vast, although i try to keep to just two or three gold/metal plays and i have SHG and BMR (has turned a corner) (SHG doing very well of late)take a look at TRD (triad) ive been in since 6p but i still believe there is plenty to go on that one. dont know what it will take to move this one, dont think it will be brokers notes as they arent worth the paper they are written on..maybe daddy abramovich can advetise zol on the hoardings at chelski. good luck Bernie

Hi Brad - totally agree with your comments. I will also continue to add as funds allow and hope that some sunny day some others start to see the inherent value in this undervalued oil and gas producer turning a profit and with good plans for future expansion. Results were great, company is definitely going the right way. Continued patience will eventually be rewarded. Atb to you too sir.Do you still have Opti? Do you own any Vast? They are another one that I would suggest now. Also a producer albeit gold, copper, zinc etc but have really turned the corner with bad funding deals now out the way. I see good 3 to 5 baggers in Zol, Opti and Vast. Good luck all - I guess it's back to sleep here now until we see some broker upgrades......

Bernie, is the market saying that this good news was already priced in and in fact its slightly below what they were expecting? cant believe that for one minute..

there was a guy on here about 6 months ago saying that there was no way ZOL would turn a profit...I would like to say im surprised by todays outcome, but to be honest nothing surprsed me with stocks and shares any more. i was extremely pleased to see the results and will continue to hold/add as and when i can. atb Bernie

No late reported big sells. Only a couple of thousand more sells than buys. 29% up to a few % down in one day on bloody excellent results. Why am I not really that surprised! :@

Not sure any funding would be needed bsg. New well 117 on Karpenskoye field was started in April (I think) earlier this year and didn't need any then. With good profits coming in all the while I don't see the need. Also they talk about a partner being bought in for West Koltgor oil field in license 10 so again no funding requirements.......

Gret results, great wee company and a very welcome vertical in the SP! I do hope it holds, though there has been a lot of selling into any rise over the past while. Maybe with these cracking figures any seller would reassess and decide to stay...or even add!

Agreed paperclip - it's really impressive. Think if the commodity prices were up where they were a while back. All is well and truly on track here. Still with the massive potential of the Eastern fields of Bortovoy to come too, as well as wells 19 and 103 in the Zhdanivskoye field coming on line now plus the two new wells in a few months time! Incredible!

Zoltav can make a profit in the most difficult of circumstances; how would it perform with an increase in gas/oil prices, and/or a strengthening of the rouble??

The market is definitely impressed and so it should be! Bring on the brokernotes paperclip! Hi Brad yes I am doing just fine thanks and hope you are too. Been waiting a long time for some of my shares to come good such as Zol, Opti and Vast. All look extremely good for the future though. ;-)

I have to agree with you BernieBoy. These are an impressive set of results. Against a background of weak oil prices and a weak rouble, the company has managed to make (its first)net profit. I'm guessing that the brokers will shortly bring out research notes that will indicate just how undervalued this company is

'materially above market expectations'. Market expectations, with Oil in the doldrums, doesn't mean they're good though to some people with short attention spans. That's the point I'm making.

I agree waldof. When Zol goes on a run it is normally a very good one that's for sure. I just think it is soooooo undervalued it's ridiculous.
