18/4/2016 11:27 | Indeed Soggy, the oil price has recovered quite a bit from the open. It's now not much below where it closed on Friday! | paperclip3
18/4/2016 08:45 | I had wondered if there would be a bit of volatility in oilers today with the (largely expected) failure to achieve anything in Doha yesterday. Pleasantly surprised to see the sky hasn't fallen in, | soggy
18/4/2016 08:05 | Much better put than me waldof! I like it. I have to stop being so bloody nice! ;-) | bernieboy
15/4/2016 10:31 | Farm in partner?! That is the most absurd suggestion I have read on this thread and can only come from someone who has not even had a cursory look at the company. Hello...hello...this is the Abramovich family.....and we need some help...we do not have the money or resources to develop our assets ( please ignore the fact that we are producing and making money right now)...can someone come aboard. Failing that we will have to do a 1p placing like other AIM oilers. Please someone help us. Utter rot. | waldof
15/4/2016 08:11 | I agree with paperclip. Why do you talk about a farm in partner for Zol alex? They are already producing.... Don't see that they would need one? | bernieboy
15/4/2016 07:18 | alex2016a, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. I do not agree with yours. I'm sure the Results, which are due out soon, will answer many questions. I don't think I'd want to be short on their release. | paperclip3
14/4/2016 19:48 | Lets assume... you have lot of money (few hundred mil. USD), couple of companies managed/owned by you and you are trading among these companies... Will your stock go up? Probably yes. Why you do that? Maybe you are looking for farm in opportunity and you want to increase market value... it works from the market point of view but when you potential farm in partner commences real due diligence of the assets he finds out the real value and holds back. This is the scenario I see behind Zol jumps. | alex2016a
14/4/2016 11:13 | Another 100 trade again today...... | bernieboy
14/4/2016 10:03 | Results this time next week! Will be interesting! Finally time for some updates and information! ;-) | bernieboy
14/4/2016 08:38 | true Waldof. I think we have all been around for long enough to know the signs, and I for one thank him for making me re think about my investment decision, I don't know how these white knights make their money but I think we should stop giving any more oxygen to it. I'm sure there will be plenty more to follow, there is usually an articulate one, then one who drinks, pretending to be northern and spells badly, and then several comedy names appear, that's the usual trend...good luck guys | brad44
14/4/2016 08:36 | Waldof - agreed! But it's always good to have thoughts from both sides of the fence. Keeps things real and stops one getting carried away. Especially on a very quiet board! Bring on the discussion I say! Alex - anything to substantiate your negative stance? | bernieboy
14/4/2016 08:22 | There is something deeply suspicious about a poster coming onto the ZOL thread - a thread one may add that hardly has any posters and a share very lightly traded - who set up his call sign on April 7 2016, and then slams the stock. This is not normal as anyone knows. | waldof
14/4/2016 08:21 | And you a right that I have no clue about Russian owners of a Russian oil company in a way. I am not totally naive in it either. What the board do and how they run the company is totally out of my hands - as are all my investments. It's like backing a horse and each race has a winner. At these levels there is money to be made imo. | bernieboy
14/4/2016 08:17 | Perhaps I was a tad unfair alex. Apologies. I don't have any issue with the bear side to a share - in fact I think it healthy to have balanced views and debates. But your posts are generally negative without any substance behind them. A bit deramping. You may well be right but time will tell and I am more than happy with my investment here. Each to his own. | bernieboy
13/4/2016 20:07 | BernieBoy behaves like a boy. You have no a clue what is an oil business especially with Russian shareholders. | alex2016a
13/4/2016 14:57 | He must have got an extra few pence this week and bought another 100! | bernieboy
13/4/2016 11:38 | Think it might be alex investing his pocket money!? | bernieboy
13/4/2016 10:16 | Another 150 buy....umm..they have been popping up a bit last two weeks. | waldof
13/4/2016 09:38 | Paperclip - certainly looks possible. Any small buying would push this North quite quickly. Imagine what a couple of days of heavy buying could do! | bernieboy
13/4/2016 09:24 | Oil looking better; Rouble getting stronger. 50p next week? | paperclip3
13/4/2016 09:17 | Yeah saw that. Could be further rises today..... | bernieboy
13/4/2016 08:55 | Interesting. Market now bidding for stock at the auction ( 37.5), very long time since that has happened. | waldof
12/4/2016 21:55 | Waldof any reason why you think Panmure Gordon is a big thing? They were appointed almost a year ago..... | bernieboy
12/4/2016 15:12 | I hear you soggy but i hapPen to believe there is more to it than that, welcome as a recovery in POO is. i believe there is no little significance to the appt of Panmure G. | waldof
12/4/2016 14:45 | I agree, it's not. But the point I'm suggesting is that the recent, very welcome rise, is perhaps nit due to any forthcoming news or change in the company, it's possibly just reacting to the POO (precisely because we are producing). | soggy |
