Posted at 28/10/2019 10:07 by ruskie123 T34, it’s an interesting topic that one . As you will know, the markets attract both fundamental and technical or price driven investors, traders. The reason of course to be invested in ZOL is because of the upside that comes on unlocking the gargantuan reserve base but technical traders will simply focus on what the price is doing and the associated technical indicators . For example , ZOL breaking above its 200 day moving average will attract a buyer that only takes positions when a stock breaks that level. Similarly, the price breaking above its bollinger bands is also seen as a technical buy signal and results in many going long on that event too. Moving averages , the macd and many others are also monitored by many. In higher liquid markets where algos are involved it can make TA more reliable though as they bring a lot of liquidity also |
Posted at 20/5/2019 08:43 by t 34 If the Cyprus stuff is true then Arkady might buy Zol , delist and then sell whole entity to Gazprom giving current private investors just small premium and pockets proper money from Gazprom to himself . |
Posted at 02/4/2019 08:46 by bernieboy One of the main issues with Zoltav's share price (apart from the obvious Russian connections) has been non existent PR. Investors don't know about the huge potential. High volumes and days on the leader boards all helps to do the job that the PR companies should have been doing...... |
Posted at 04/10/2018 10:55 by noirua With Brent oil now over $86 a barrel many investors will be looking around for oil and gas stocks who's share prices have been beaten down in the sector. |
Posted at 07/9/2018 13:08 by t 34 With the current climate the UK authorities will not allowed this company to grow , almost certainly it will be wear off . Abram does have access to super assets as it was demonstrated with some copper deposits that were sold to Kaz plc , worth £600 mln so much that it scarred Kaz investors . It is pointless for Zol to be listed on LSE and they know this . Better to do business via China , Hong Kong listing and try to grow business there . However US sanctions might try to reach Zol even there with their whip but China is huge and the market there is enough for Zol . Unless they have super plan !!!!! |
Posted at 06/9/2018 16:42 by croxonopolis Another day of red we missed.I just hope Daddy doesn't throw his dummy out the pram and decide to screw UK investors in revenge (the 6 of us that are left). Tongue in cheek obviously. Our relations with Russia carry on deteriating, with great understanding, as it's a disgrace. This is something that does reallt worry me though. Any thoughts anyone? |
Posted at 04/8/2018 20:09 by t 34 Kaz Minerals is about to buy copper assets from Abram portfolio in Chukotka , huge transaction , in fact so as it scared investors . Lets hope the Abram clan do have something for Zol. |
Posted at 28/6/2018 11:18 by croxonopolis Quieter than the dark side of the moon on this blog. Besides Waldorf, PClip, T34 and Bernie, are there any other private investors left here?Whats with these small trades today? |
Posted at 17/5/2018 09:25 by waldof I hear you Bernie but for a start we do not produce any oil at the moment - i feel pretty sure in saying - and would be a long way off, that is the other asset and they are still looking for a partner to work with on that.Secondly the ruble is not in good shape thanks to Vlad' and sanctions etc. Thirdly the very mention of the word Russia makes most institutions run a mile. clearly there is massive ' value' here on any sensible metric but a phrase from Warren B comes to mind. " the market can remain irrational far longer than investors can remain solvent "..or some such! |
