17/1/2014 16:08 | No but I know a social network friend who might just have | hazel11
17/1/2014 12:31 | Boonkoh: I agree with you. Anyone here got a Korean friend to go and have a look and ask a few questions? | etarip
17/1/2014 09:05 | About time this baby moved northwards | hazel11
16/1/2014 17:59 | Indeed, something fishy. Non-public info somewhere? Zinc prices haven't increased last few days substantially. But more bullish talk about the prices for 2014. | boonkoh
16/1/2014 14:49 | Zox on the move now; bottom put in finally. Speculative BUY. | drewz
13/1/2014 16:10 | Interesting 250,000 share purchase today. I hope someone knows something we don't. | etarip
10/1/2014 16:56 | Broker Investec acknowledged the teething problems experienced by ZincOx in the development of its first full-scale plant. "We hope that the learning process will ensure that future similar developments will be possible without so many problems as the company will have learnt from the process," Investec said. It is holding out for a stable and consistent operational performance, as is peer finnCap. "The shares remain oversold but require firm evidence of a sustained move into profitability before a rerating can take place," it said. | rathkum
09/1/2014 11:29 | It seems as though ZOX is on everyone's list, will folk wait to see if another s/t funding is required - guess 10p ? | giant steps
09/1/2014 11:22 | Had these on my watchlist for quite a while waiting to press the buy button, but insufficient compelling reasoned positives just yet. Encouraging at least, but clarification on current cash position and realistic timeline to "cashflow positive" required before I enter the water. | the drewster
09/1/2014 11:11 | Disaster was not my word but elaric's. I do think it fitting though, and I explained why. Cash is in short supply and very substantial amount compared to their resources has just drained away. What do you model EBITDA at for months with 2,289 and 1,145 tonnes Zn in concentrate and Zn at ~$1950? Zn rising certainly helps (as would selling their Fe) but any more slips like the last couple of months and there will need to be another fundraising which will not be at 15.5p. Recall the circular on 13th Nov said "The initial throughput target (175,000 tonnes of EAFD per annum) should be achieved at the year end". Nov & Dec's throughput was actually half that. | rapier686
09/1/2014 10:41 | A 10% increase in the zinc price makes a huge difference to the bottom line, and with so many large mines closing around the world over the next 24 months expect zinc prices to spike higher this year. Clearly, they are still developing a methodology for maintenance and ongoing refurbishment of high wear components in order to maximise production - this is a new technology after all. You can't expect it to work 100% 'out of the box'. But the way the zinc price is moving, they will be able to generate free cash flow even whilst tweaking the maintenance/refurb protocols below max production levels. It's looking promising, imho, but still not without short-term banana skins to production. 'Disaster' it is not! You only demean yourself with such stupid language. | drewz
09/1/2014 10:39 | I'm afraid it looks like a disaster to me. I estimate Nov&Dec are looking in the region of a $2m EBITDA deficit for the plant. With a further ~$2m for finance and admin costs, it looks to me like the majority of the recent equity issue proceeds have just been burnt. If everything goes to plan hereafter then that's not fatal. But when have 'unexpected' hiccups not crawled out on a regular basis? | rapier686
09/1/2014 08:41 | Directors and management have made a huge effort to get this going and it's never going to be easy when pioneering. I like the way they risk their own money in Zincox shares alongside the ordinary private investor so let's hope for substantial rewards for all. | giant steps
09/1/2014 08:37 | Not all good news but not a disaster either. Looks like they are finally coming to the end of the teething problems and will achieve their target. It has been a long time in coming. | etarip
09/1/2014 08:31 | Market looks forward, huge upside imo. (no advice intended) One only has to look at the photo gallery of the South Korean Plant to realise that Zincox have created a facility to replicate worldwide - well done. | giant steps
09/1/2014 07:25 | HMmm very poor production figures but zinc prices soaring. I wander how the share price will react to this. | pilkersa

03/1/2014 20:16 | Thanks for that few more Monday looks in ordet | hazel11
03/1/2014 11:40 | I have increased my position here on the basis that Andrew Woollett's increased stake is confirmation that ZOX is turning the corner and the share price has bottomed out. However, I appreciate this is a high risk investment in that Mr Woollett may be taking a punt which proves to be premature and the technology may let us down again. Therefore I am knowingly risking 100% write-off. Nonetheless, this could easily be a 10-bagger from this distressed level if the technology now holds up and Asian demand steadily moves the zinc price higher: | drewz
03/1/2014 11:29 | This stock is massively undervalued in my humble opinion if Zinc hits $2250 a ton this company could be making close to £20M a year at a valuation of only 19M it is looking very attractive. Sure there is some risk but if you read the report below a lot of that has already been removed from the operation but the share price is not reflecting it. | johnrowlands46
02/1/2014 19:17 | What is going off here is it worth buying any more shares at this price? | hazel11
