Interesting announcement. The directors have contributed around one third of the loan - £1.47 million = $2.21 million so must be very confident. Decent exercise price for the warrants at 40p. Prospects look better from here.

granitetim. Not sure your two generalist contributions are either informative or well-researched. Indeed, I would go further than that with your reference to Woollett in post 1538 which is stating the obvious but doesn't add to the debate at all as it is totally off-piste (ie it isn't going to happen, so why even mention it?)

Institutions take profits to protect their clients capital.. This spooks the market (always) people sell up and the same institution likely buys the position back ;)

I would worry if Andrew Woolettt were to have sold his entire stake which a part cost him £200,0000 very recently!!

Autumn starts on September 22nd and ends on December 21st.
I do not expect any announcement until then but I will be more than happy if the company suprises me with some good news earlier.

ZincOx Resources plc (AIM: ZOX) announces that it was notified on 22 May 2013 by Andrew Woollett, Executive Chairman, that on the same day he purchased 1,288,244 ordinary shares of 25p each ("Shares") in the Company at a price of 15.525 pence per share.

25 June 2013
Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Woollett, ZincOx's Executive Chairman said "We have a clear plan to overcome the heat exchanger issues that have held back our production and we are looking forward to achieving target capacity this autumn."

Equity analyst Charlie Long, at Sanlam securities, noted the firm's plant is the first of its kind in the world and so is "unsurprisingly having teething problems".

"However, the technology is relatively straight forward, the plant is working quite well and after a few minor design improvements, there is every reason to think KRP1 will be a profitable operation which should perform in-line with ZincOx's expectations."

That is if something else doesn't go wrong, which can't be fully discounted given that the company have yet to run the plant at full capacity problem free. It also looks like they will be dependent on the new loan going through, so there are still some risks

From ZincOx Resources PLC Final Results 02.05.14

"Draw down of project finance will require the successful operation of KRP1 over a three month test period ("Performance Test") which has yet to commence and is subject to satisfactory due diligence and Bank credit approval typical for a project of this nature. We hope this will begin within the next couple of months."

"This Performance Test had not commenced at the year end. It has been arranged that the Performance Test can commence within 24 hours following a request from ZincOx."

Has the start of performance test been announced and if so when did it start?
