01/3/2013 11:45 | Trik, I think you have it about right. Rath, the teething problems may be causing difficulties, but one must ask having got so far with production hitting target, are they more or less likely to be able to solve the problems. FWIW I think they will be able and this period of uncertainty may provide a super opportuntity But what we need is an update with how it is going. | propercharlie
01/3/2013 09:41 | Yes it is a fair point and more reason for the company to sort its information flow/image out.... | chrisdgb
01/3/2013 09:12 | Not sure if everything is going to plan. Share price is always a good indicator but I suspect the teething problems are more severe than initially thought of. There is also a case of working capital requirements if these issues concerning the plant are problematic. | rathkum
01/3/2013 07:14 | Indeed, long overdue rally here, company should sort out the pr... | chrisdgb
01/3/2013 06:55 | FWIW I second that! | blue59
28/2/2013 16:51 | eric76, I agree with your chart analysis. The stock looks very oversold and has almost reached its low point from five years ago. This type of company isn't normally my cup of tea, ie. new technology companies often mean rotten investments. But it appears the technology they're using isn't new at all; it's old technology adapted to a new application. And according to the company, the technology works! It seems the key issue - which has driven down the share price over the past few months - is that teething problems have meant FULL production has been delayed. But this is very likely to change and, with it, the sentiment towards the stock. According to Morningstar, Zox is on a forward PE of 4 when the sector average is almost 12. So, on that basis alone, the company seems to be very undervalued. Not only that but it's heartening to see that the boss, Andrew Woollett, owns 2.5 million shares. So his interests are aligned very closely to those of other shareholders. Certainly in the absence of news, the share price may drift a little lower but, imo, where it stands now, the risk/reward ratio is pretty compelling. | triktrak
28/2/2013 14:09 | Interesting one to research imo. Charts at a multi year low at the lower trendline of a falling wedge with bottom indicators well appearing oversold too. Will have to reread their previous newsflow as it seems they're just waiting for a sniff of a positive rns or rumour to rally well from here. | eric76
27/2/2013 11:56 | this threads really really old.. ZOX could do with a new thread with updated charts and latest broker notes. Anyone up for it?, i've only recently started reasearching this. | rajaster
20/2/2013 10:19 | With more and more paper money being printed and only a finite amount of commodities the only way in paper money terms is for the price of these commodities is to go up. If there is £100 and 100Kg of Zinc....Zinc = £1 per Kg If Government prints another £100. £200 and 100Kg of Zinc....Zinc = £2 per Kg and so on and so on.... | loganair
20/2/2013 10:08 | Yes, rather frustrating being at these levels....such fantastic potential....are there any industry players that would take them out..?? | chrisdgb
15/2/2013 14:53 | Unfortunately the big volume is basically due to two large 750,000 sells each. There appears to be large overhang, and until it clears we are stuck at these levels for a while. | rathkum
15/2/2013 14:23 | big vol - willing buyers and sellers at this price so with seller out of the way soon up we go :o). I bought zox with a 2-5 year hold period. Might seem like a long time but over that period of time I think the risk is very low compared to the reward. | greg the grinch
15/2/2013 09:36 | It certainly would....nice volume here today...would be nice to get this thing moving.. | chrisdgb
13/2/2013 21:18 | I'd be happy to break £1 before 2014 When they were designing it they were constantly weighing up what stress levels each part would come under and on a few parts they just weren't up to the job. For a new process I think we are doing ok in a relatively short time. With all those parts replaced and bottlenecks removed we should now be only expecting maintenance shutdowns and possibly the odd gremlin from the plant working constantly. Big swings in price were to be expected now the uptick on each positive rns will be substantial. £5 in a few years would be very welcome..... | cyfran101
12/2/2013 23:03 | This is one of my few runts....bought more...too cheap...zn prices and graphs looking good. Only good thing about those options is they will think twice before doing a large dilutive placing. £5 in a few years......good risk/reward. | greg the grinch
05/2/2013 08:13 | Some shareholding movement at M&G..?? | chrisdgb
31/1/2013 22:39 | chris, I would imagine when they have run the modifications for the iron recovery. The ZN is at around 90% latest figures | propercharlie
31/1/2013 08:35 | Does anyone know when we are likely to get another production update..?? | chrisdgb
30/1/2013 11:10 | Better volume here today....boosted by Kenmare comments on global GDP....???? | chrisdgb
28/1/2013 15:21 | ZOX 5yr chart reminder | giant steps
26/1/2013 15:32 | LOG, I understand your POV, your starting position may be very different than mine as I had a small holding at 60 but bought much more at 34-36 and now average 40. My view is that fromm here we anat to see a package that motivates. If the Option price is placed to high over current share price it ceases to be an incentive. I bought and topped recently because at last the plant is close to target, main problems solved and hopefully they can move to profitability and replication in new projects. | propercharlie
26/1/2013 09:14 | PC - I disagree, as a director I see a 50% drop in the share price which I am rewarded for with options that retrace only 10% of that 50% drop - is that right and proper? In 2007 the share price was over 400p and a year ago was around the 80p mark and is why I think the options would have been better priced at 80p as at 45p many share holders are still holding a substantial loss. | loganair
25/1/2013 17:14 | options are fine with me also, we want managment which are motivated. At 45 it is 30% above existing share price and the directors will be looking for substantial gain as an incentive. My take is positive; and I am happy for around 10% in options. | propercharlie
25/1/2013 12:48 | To balance this a little, of the dozen or so AIM stocks I hold ZOX is the only one where directors have bought shares in the open market in the last 12 months (in most cases ever!!)! | blue59
25/1/2013 10:10 | Interesting to note the massive amount of shares they have helped themselves compared to previous years totals. Seems determined to suck this company dry. | rathkum |
