I really have required some strength with this share. Been so tempted to sell out and put it in more volatile stocks like AFF, but will continue to hold at 57p, however with the share being so illiquid, I think my previous statement of 100p could be rather rash, perhaps by the year end? Would be nice to receive an operational update, but with the big placing at 56p it seems this is a favourite of IIs but not PIs, continue to hold.

Why is it that every day one of the Boards I read get spammed with a Tomco Energy post - they all look similar, must be one of the biggest pump and dump stocks on ADVFN.

TomCo aim to be producing 9,500 bopd from their oil shale acreage in Utah USA using an innovative environmentally friendly technology called EcoShale. The technology has been licensed from their partner Red Leaf Resources and next door neighbour. Red Leaf are about to sign a $320M JV with a Super Major rumoured to be Total which would be a huge vote of confidence for both Red Leaf and Tomco's business plan. Well worth putting on your monitor.

I would normally moan about options being granted without much of an incentive of achievement, however these do appear to have been issued to align with a major milestone of opening the first plant and are exercisable at what is a 12 month average price so I'm not complaining here.

Share options granted to managers at an exercise price of 56 pence.

It seems like a fair alignment of interest with shareholders to me (but my opinion may be biased as I bought in at a lower price).

your getting agitated over a 6-7% swing on an AIM small cap mining share? If you don't like wild swings I suggest you go for the interest rates in the banks for your money.

As soon as it is confirmed that the process works, should be a pop to 100p IMO risk reduced and news on any other plants will only catapult us further.

I'm actually quite impressed with this firm, it has been extremely resilient to recent downturns. Held 50-60p for the last 3 months solid, interesting couple of months for us.

What's up with this stock? Within a few days the price has been driven to 59p and now back to 52p and we have a seller this morning. Any further delays in NK I wonder.

Looks like it was tipped in shares mag as well as being listed in the top 10 miners of 2011 article (which is ironic given that we don't dig anything up).

I dont think anything is formally committed. It was all supposed to be fully working by end jan but then it slipped to Q1 and then the H1. Good commissioning news in Jan would be a much needed credibility boost.

I guess the market is not prepared to give Zincox the benefit of doubt but rather to see the plant fully operational before they upgrade the share price. Looks that way.
