Zinc Media Group awarded Production Company of the Year 2024
at The New York Festivals
London, UK - Zinc Media Group plc (AIM:ZIN), a leading British television and content creation group, is pleased to announce it has been awarded Production Company of the Year at The New York Festivals' TV & Film Awards, 2024.
Additionally, Zinc Media Group won two Gold awards for 'Putin vs The West: At War', a compelling series produced by Brook Lapping, a Zinc Media Group label, for the BBC. This series earned acclaim in the International Affairs and Politics categories for its insightful and gripping exploration of geopolitical tensions.
Brook Lapping was also presented with two Gold Awards in the Biography and Education categories for the feature documentary 'Deborah James: Bowelbabe: In Her Own Words', also for the BBC. This biography chronicles Deborah James's brave battle with incurable bowel cancer, her elevation to damehood, and her premature passing, covering the remarkable final five years of her life.
These recognitions reaffirm the trust placed in Zinc Media Group as a leader in quality content production, trusted with complex and delicate stories.
The Edge Picture Company, the corporate film arm of Zinc Media Group, was honoured with a Gold award for its work with HSBC, along with five Silver and Bronze awards across various projects for Transport for London, UK Power Networks, and Deloitte, spanning categories from PR & Social Engagement to CSR and Training. These achievements highlight its consistent success in collaborating with brands and business and its ability to convey powerful messages across diverse platforms.
