And with good reason:

'Zephyr Energy
Zephyr are returning to their flagship project at the Paradox Basin where the previous attempt to drill ended in tears after an encounter with too much in the way of hydrocarbons. The drilling rig is preparing to drill the State 36-R well and which is mostly funded by the insurance on the last drill. With immense knowledge of the rocks one hopes that this barn burner will be tamed this time and expect the redrill to deliver the goods. Zephyr have used the canny purchase of the Williston Basin assets to provide cash flow and also have an interest in the Salt Wash Helium project which whilst not considered to be top of the list of assets are considered to have ‘significant and unrecognised potential’. All in all this should be a big returner from one of the best teams in the sector.'

Good little video clip from CH. How can they possibly miss the fracture, they would just pull up and alter direction slightly as they know where it is.

Saucepan. yes it would be frustrating to go past the reservoir missing by a foot or 2 but as the reservoir has been confirmed to be pretty large with the first drill I guess it really would be bad luck if we "missed". Anyway they have seismic plus Bernie with his Bolt (Anyone who watched TV, was it the 60's? would know what I mean there! - lol).
Exciting times though and 7p-8p must be nailed on in a few weeks (on success) if only to get back to where we have already been.

Presumably they are close together to reduce the pressure on the single well.

Regarding the above, I found it fascinating to be able to observe just how close the new drilling point is to the old one - just a few feet away. Surely, as they had a strong gusher with the first drill, they are not going to miss with this one!

Nice to see that the PoO is about 5 bucks higher than when I last checked a few weeks ago. That will certainly help to pay the bills. Maybe a 1/3 of the G&A if it stays around this level ?

Jakes114 - I was under the impression that the 36 well was mainly gas rather than oil due to the limited clean up following the well blow out. Maybe I am just misremembering.
