Malcy and others have been at 20p for sometime, I think his comment about where the shares were before the operational difficulties is very key as we are still well below those levels and as some posters have already pointed out we are still below the NAV of the current revenue and profits. This has a long way upwards to go imo as a LTH. Good luck all.

Malcy going for 20p

More good news as Zephyr announce the start of the drilling operations at the Paradox Basin well 36-2R. The spudder rig having been mobilised and doing all the necessary preparation work for the main drilling rig arriving in mid April.

Not much to add I know but it is good to see such regular updates. At 3.74p the shares are up 17% today and have nearly doubled since the turn of the year but enthusiasts should remember what they were before the operational difficulties and quite what the upside is at Zephyr.

My confidence is undented and my 20p TP remains intact, my confidence in the Paradox Basin is still extremely high and the management at Zephyr amongst the best in the sector.

Mm tactics not working though, mm's have a paradox here, nothing will stop the buying pressure.

PS From the other board:

The Cane Creek Reservoirs have produced interest from several companies, however the unconventional properties have made it difficult to produce and scale. There is currently research being done on how to efficiently produce from some of the unconventional plays in the basin. The current project being conducted by National Energy Technology Laboratory, University of Utah, and Zephyr Energy will take four years to complete and will result in the the testing to determine optimal stimulation techniques using at least one horizontal well. If the project is successful it could lead to a boom in production of the Paradox unconventional plays. There are several major pipelines within the basin including the Northwest Pipeline, Southern Trails Pipeline, and TransColorado pipeline for natural gas; the Western Refining pipeline for crude oil; and the Rocky Mountains pipeline owned by Enterprise for natural gas liquids.

Is this the start of the Boom!

Classic move from the mm to widen the spread to deter buyers.

Suggests they are on the back foot.

Will check the rsp and post later.

Good to see the initial drill has been done on time.
Not long before the bigger rig arrives, not forgetting that it is able to deal with the high reservoir pressure expected which gives the best chance of success:
'Rig 257 is a Flex 3 1,500HP drilling rig fully capable of drilling the planned well and managing the high reservoir pressures expected to be encountered.'

Yes circa 1.25m late on absorbed but mm have been happy to take stock last few days so has to be demand in background.

Tbh should never have fallen this far anyway with the non op revenues it produces.

A lot news due on several fronts not just the redrill.

Been a patient wait but maybe zephyr holders are in for a decent few months.

Came across this. Good to know we have the best:
Helmerich & Payne has been named the No. 1 Land Driller in the EnergyPoint Research Contract Drillers Survey for the 14th year. In addition to its top marks overall, H&P captured the highest ratings in job quality, technology, HSE, digital and big data, Texas & Mid-continent, Onshore Gulf Coast, horizontal and directional applications, plus three additional categories.

I remember how this moved smartly up to the 6p+ range back in 2020/21 in expectation and see a repeat performance starting now. Only difference is we have a confirmed discovery this time around and are well equipped, pardon the pun.

candlestick1 - nice summary. I was about to ask if you minded me posting your summary on the other board here but you've done it anyway.
All aboard now as the train pulls slowly but surely away from platform "2".
Seriously, just how many oilers are there that have already hit the target and are merely doing it again where we virtually know the result in advance. No brainer to jump aboard now. Exciting summer ahead.

Solaris it was only a few agreed but seemed the mm were paying slightly over mid at the time which is a positive. Means there’s demand in the background, maybe a worked order or 2…

Mkt cap is only just over 50m so a ten to twenty bagger would not seem out of place once the campaign for the 200 wells begins in earnest and decent production is underway, and that is with a partner.

I think it's always been when and not if for success here. Last year proved Paradox is not easy to unlock but it also showed the prize is likely to be huge. All the work done so far and the choice of drill team is the key that will begin to unlock it, in my opinion.
We need a good, solid success, which I truly believe will happen, and this will go into double figures. The oil is there, the high pressure will be there, but the faulty equipment will be absent along with the surprise element. The discovery has already been made. CoS has to be over 90%, roll on the drill and good luck to all long term investors.
