10/4/2017 20:26 | What on earth went wrong? You miss the point. After all the hype and optimism from the CEO in interviews and tweets - Today's RNS re well pump replacement announces an increase in production of 14 (fourteen) BOPD from a total of 6 (or is it 5) wells which are finished with respect to that part of the work (pump replacement). So one question is - How many of the wells are producing? We know the total production increase - 14 BOPD. ...one consideration to consider at this point is if the rest of the wells are as unsuccessful now with new technology then it is no surprise the wells were left to run down with no maintenance and finally abandoned. If this is a production increase that is. Well, that is what the RNS says - an increase in production of 14 BOPD. From today's RNS - ' There will be an update this week about the workover of well M-195 '. That leaves tomorrow, Wednesday 12th, the day of the next presentation event or Thursday 13th because the markets are closed on Friday. Maybe that news is being held back until Wednesday? We will see. Of course all eyes will be upon the reason for the delay, both of the announcement and the progress of the workover. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns and think carefully before shouting them down and dismissing them. | 11smith
10/4/2017 19:13 | 11smith please read the RNS carefully before throwing false news and adding further to confusion...-The four wells, are NOT part of the workover program- clearly noted on the RNS-The one well that was originally planned to add a pump was no longer required- clearly noted on the RNS: "The previously announced planned pump replacement of well M-48 has upon further technical investigation been deemed unnecessary at this point in time and has not taken place."- I won't add any further, as ZENGAS has summarised above perfectly.Dyor | ravin146
10/4/2017 19:05 | Zengas, thank you very much for the summary above...clearly some posters still don't get it.Btw just to clarify, conversion of notes is good news not bad!Much appreciate your input here... | ravin146
10/4/2017 18:44 | Todays wells re pump work are not part of the workovers otherwise that would be the programme for the year virtually complete - so impossible. The 2017 10 well workover programme was - * Muradkhalni - up to 7 workovers including M-195 and M-45. * Jafarli - up to 2 workovers. * Zardab - 1 workover. ==================== Todays news includes 3 wells re new pumps/pump repairs in the Jafarli field, 2 in Muradkhanli and have checked a 3rd in Muradkhanli (M-48) re pump work which is not required - ie 6 wells. In addition to this, Zenith only got their workover rig back on the 16th March just over 3 weeks ago. So Team A has carried out pump work/investigations on 6 wells and are not part of the workover programme. As to what went wrong ?...Answer nothing ! Well Workover news still to come and may be slower than hoped for, but it was reiterated in various interviews that they would be taking their time to do it right. There's no way with the workover rig just back, that the companys own team would have made any significant progress. | zengas
10/4/2017 18:00 | I can provide some clarification. The RNS today states - On March 16, 2017 the Company announced that three wells, M-70 and M-48 in the Muradkhanli field and well C-34 in the Jafarli field, had been scheduled for submersible pump replacements and that these operations were to be carried out by the recently mobilised Team A. A total of four wells have undergone pump replacements and one well has undergone pump repair work. Team A has now successfully completed pump replacements at M-67 and M-70 in the Muradkhanli field as well as C-31 and C-34 in the Jafarli field. In addition to these activities, well C-39 in the Jafarli field has undergone pump repair work. The confusion arises from there being no firm news of well M-48 and the completed pump replacement of well M-67 which was not previously mentioned and the repair work at well C-39, also not previously mentioned. It is still not clear from that how many wells are producing. The other RNS of today indicates Gunsynd think this a good time to convert a loan note. IMO they will carry on their sell off. | 11smith
10/4/2017 17:31 | What on earth went wrong? After all the hype and optimism from the CEO. Oh how undervalued ZEN is - share price should be £1. We are very optimistic etc. baloney. etc. Now we get whimpering excuses and 14 (fourteen) more bopd after all that time. Note the attempt at optimism - the pump replacements are not part of the workover plans. So is that 14 bopd from 3 wells with new pumps and the 4th producing without the pump replacement? It is not clear from the RNS wording what happened with the 4th well? I don't remember reading about a 4th well being worked on so news of it now causes further confusion. Is the 14 bopd in addition to the previous production or what? All a little vague. IMO the RNS has been rushed out so there is something to talk about at the big event on the 12th. Not much to talk about but better than nothing. My position - I bought in shortly after the initial LSE float and sold half after the big rise to 13p. Dumped the rest this morning first thing. ... a bit like AIM ...sell the fact, buy the rumour. ...WALOBS | 11smith
10/4/2017 16:30 | Buy when others are fearful. Very true with this. Got my biggest ever holding in here now. with a single stock. Hope for good W.O NEWS | honestcrook
10/4/2017 16:03 | Agree, news tomorrow or Wednesday morning before the caspian energy forum.I'm expecting 195 to be within 100bopd | dipla

10/4/2017 13:20 | LOL! That link to the guerillainvesting, and the 'exclusive' sources..LOL! "Now here's the latest rumour. We know that their CEO Catteneo is a deal maker. We know the team are in Baku as we speak, Zenith maybe in asset negotiations for further oil producing assets in Azerbaijan and more then likely in Italy and Africa...One thing is certain there are deals in the pipeline." Ho yes and would that be team A or team B thats in Baku, and is the reason for the long delay in finishing the w/o.. As to the claim that Catteneo is a deal maker and is 'maybe' in asset negotiations for further oil producing assets in Azerbaijan and more likely Italy and Africa...One thing is certain there are deals in the pipeline. Well 'dan the man' has certainly tried to cover all the bases with that one, but wouldn't you need funds to buy assets, and some posters have stated Zenith cannot raise anymore funds with a share placing... | grannyboy
10/4/2017 12:33 | Zengas, 1093# I agree, they need experienced hands onboard who can do the job. Even if they pay outside specialists to come in (from abroad) to sort these wo's out. I do think AC is a nice chap. Perhaps they could issue degrees once the teams are trained and hold a graduation ceremony too ;) Cash | cashandcard
10/4/2017 12:27 | Laughable!!! "Sources" being this morning's RNS!!! ROFL!! | thegreatgeraldo
10/4/2017 12:25 | Dan FYI Zenith Energy. Update & RNS translation for the simple minded.... I can’t believe what I read today from Zenith Energy (LON: ZEN). It’s actually good news in a small way. However the RNS is poorly constructed and in my opinion there was no need for it. This information should have been tagged onto the well M195 workover RNS which sources indicate should drop later this we..... Dan x x | daniel levi bmd
10/4/2017 12:10 | And another sly remark from that fool ravin...I for one do not have these shares on any T10..T20..Or any other T'ing..They are paid for in cash... | grannyboy
10/4/2017 12:08 | ravin is the one that started to claim he was filtering everyone that he didn't agree with, then proceeded to make sly remarks.. I will NOT be quiet about the length of time it is taking to do the w/o, and if they haven't the experienced crews needed then it has to be rectified. And going by the information supplied by andrea the cost of production is $10 boo, unless thats just b.s as well.. | grannyboy
10/4/2017 12:06 | CPAP, lol, totally agree not a t-20 stock!DYOR all | ravin146
10/4/2017 11:55 | Tend to agree....look having been around the block for a while i know that the natural resources business [indeed any business] is never straight forward but feel that ZEN will produce the goods seriously big time for those that can hold a share for more than 5 minutes! ZEN are NOT a T+20 share but a BUY and HOLD share....AIMHO Also suggest that posters re-read the original prospectus so as to manage their own expectations with ZEN P.S. - the RNS perhaps could have been worded better but whilst AC speaks good English he is not English [perhaps someone from the brokers could assist next time?] | cpap man
10/4/2017 11:45 | shame to see the Board become so acrimonious. RNS today was a positive step in the right direction, minimal expenses incurred and 14bopd more which is welcome, especially as this wasn't even a workover. Company is generating profit, has a very low production cost of $16 per barrel and has the potential for significant production increases going forward. | robg88
10/4/2017 11:40 | grannyboy, again your questions are answered on the Q3 call | thelung
10/4/2017 11:40 | Yes exactly - no personal attacks [or any de-ramping so that you can buy in cheaper BS either] just a well reasoned discussion ZEN thread please. Both sides of the argument are welcome as long as they follow the rules.... | cpap man
10/4/2017 11:33 | Grannyboy not here to see personal attacks, rather a reasoned discussion. You seem very negative in all your posts, usually a sign of frustration when losing money. Calm down, and have patience, focusing on the business.Prefer to avoid personal attacks, so I will filter you I'm afraid.Imho, wish you the best. | rameshh
10/4/2017 11:26 | Topped up another lot, oversold and buyers returning... | dipla
10/4/2017 11:26 | ravin in its post 1095 gives a company supporting list of achievements, then in its next post 1096 proceeds to dismantle what he says in prior post...You couldn't make it up, he then has the gall to belittle other posters and claims to filter them if they don't say what he wants to hear!!!FOOL. And this talk of getting a drilling rig from China..Has this rig already been built or is it still to be commissioned?, and it will still need to be delivered.. | grannyboy |
