27/5/2007 14:32 | Latest broker report: Recent company presentation (23rd May 08): ProactiveInvestor article by Harry Norman (23 Mar 07): BUY rating by Investors Chronicle, 17 May 07 Presentation at Minesite in May 07: Issued capital: 188,185,000 Options & Warrents : 12,250,000 Major institutional share holders include: Glencore, Goldman Sachs Securities, Lehman Brothers International, Bear Stearns Securities and many others... Zambezi has achieved a first mover advantage for gold and copper-gold in Zambia which is fast becoming a favoured exploration destination in Africa. Zambezi has been successful in identifying a number of gold and copper projects which it is actively exploring. In late 2005 Zambezi identified a number of uranium anomalies from regional radiometric surveys, and in 2006, commenced work at the Oryx Project. Work on the Oryx project to date has identified significant widths of up to 50m of surface uranium mineralisation, and peak values of more than 1500ppm U3O8 over one metre channel samples in trenches. An additional major uranium enriched system has been confirmed around the Mulofwe Dome and at Nkala. To date, Zambezi has covered only approximately 20% of the total portfolio area of 17,000 square kilometres. Results to date highlight the significant uranium, nickel, gold and copper potential of the Zambezi portfolio of projects. | ramnik007

25/5/2007 07:39 | ZRL presentation from Minesite now up on their website... | fez
25/5/2007 07:39 | It should also be noted that ZRL have still only explored 20% of their territory, and that is apparently with the largest exploration team in the whole of Africa! ZRL have territory rich in minerals. Managements dillema has been where to start and focus resources with limited budget. However, this year, it appears cash is no longer a problem and they have 8 drill rigs on site on various projects. The chances of succesful drill data has been improved by using VTEM technology to target drill holes. So far the VTEM technology has proven to be very accurate in locating high mineralisation of Cu at both Cheowa and Kanaluwi. | ramnik007
24/5/2007 17:18 | ZRL has HUGE potential. In my opinion you will only make money with these. I would expect ZRL to be a minimum of 50p by the end of 2007. Nice 750 T trade shown at the end of the day. That was obviously a Buy. bb | boilerboy
24/5/2007 16:45 | Should be more of the same in the morning, opening at 22p | seatrader
24/5/2007 15:35 | This stock has significant value to be unlockd as more JVs are announced and more drill data is announced. With the ASX listing next month ZRL may at long last be moving to new levels. I think the Australian analysts and brokers are likely to see the huge upside to ZRL. If I remember correctly Julian Ford stated in the Minesite presentation that he has had "phenomenal" response in Australia! | ramnik007
24/5/2007 14:23 | L2 has turned on it's head, now an astonishing 6 v 1. 130k v 25k. Tick up almost certainly the next move. | bozzy_s
24/5/2007 13:30 | ramnik - Ahh! I see where you're coming from. I totally agree, the potential is indeed mega, which is why I added a few more shares today. I imagine new partners will be no problem once the data is presented. NB: I have a note that says after this deal ZRL now own 48.6% of ZNI (but I can't remember where I read that info). | hattori_hanzo
24/5/2007 13:24 | Looking good here today with plenty of more to come | seatrader
24/5/2007 13:21 | HH- Rough calc. ZRL own approx 47% of ZNI. Now they have a JV with ZNI where they will have 49% of the rights. Therefore ZRL will have approx. 24% + 49% of Uranium rights as per the projects stated in the RNS. I think the "elephant" Uranium project (Mulofwe Dome) has mega potential. I believe mgt want to get more data before considering a JV with very eager potential partners. | ramnik007
24/5/2007 13:04 | L2 info - 1v4 25k v 100k | bozzy_s
24/5/2007 13:01 | Just checked the RNS details again and I'm not sure that ramnik is correct about 75%. It looks like ZNI can aquire 51% of the ZRL uranium rights: Zambezi Nickel may create uranium JV with Zambezi Resources, raise 2 mln stg Date : 21/05/2007 @ 19:32 Source : AFX Stock : Zambezi Resources (ZRL) "The company said it signed a heads of agreement with ZRL to create a joint venture, in which ZNI could initially acquire 51 pct of ZRL's uranium rights on the Mpande, Rufunsa, Mulungushi and Chumbwe licences, if it spent 5 mln usd on the areas over two and a half years." | hattori_hanzo
24/5/2007 11:46 | Hi jumbo, I believe, after this new JV deal, we now hold 48.6% of ZNI and ramnik has just mentioned (on the ZNI thread) that ZRL still own about 75% of the ZNI uranium prospects. [hd] ;-) | hattori_hanzo
24/5/2007 11:41 | what % of zni do we hold!! its very nice when it pays off well done those who like me have been here forever[hd] :-))))))))))) | jumbo66
24/5/2007 11:21 | Daz - you are correct, it will be distribution of ZNI shares. I did ask Julian after the presentation re this matter and was informed that it would be done in a way to avoid tax payment. share price action on ZNI will hopefully get people to have a look a t ZRL. | ramnik007
24/5/2007 11:13 | Andy I stand to be corrected, I was at Minesite as well but what I thought Julian proposed was a distribution of the ZNI shares that ZRL held. They couldn't pay a special dividend because that would be cash, which they haven't got and they wouldn't be selling off their ZNI stake. A distribution of shares is not I think taxable, again I stand to be corrected. Anyway glad to see ZRL up, chart looks good to me, hopefully it can take out the previous high with further drilling news over the next few months. Up until now ZRL has been held back by lack of drilling, hopefully they and Glencore have got enough rigs to prove the copper deposits. | daz
24/5/2007 10:41 | Finally the ZRL price is starting to react to the huge ZNI gains. Good news. | hattori_hanzo
24/5/2007 10:40 | doverbeach, I was at Minesite, and I thought the Minesite host asked the pertinent questions that everyone else in the room had been thinking! I found the constant cross references to ZRl and ZNI somewhat confusing, and, as a result, I was not impressed with the presentation. I agree with the host's comments, and I may well sell for now. I invest for capital growth, and a special dividend is of no interest to me, as it is taxable. | andy
23/5/2007 11:24 | Julian Ford's presentation at Minesite majored on copper/gold. He was asked a lot of awkward questions about the ZNI "JV". The Minesite host said that he thought the two companies confused London fund managers so they didnt invest in either. His replies amounted to: - we want ZRL to concentrate on copper/gold - there were no promising possible JVs with companies with good U experience - ZNI will be putting together a U team. Today's ZNI announcement is obviously the start of this: | doverbeach
23/5/2007 06:48 | Having listened to the Minesite presentation, I remain bullish. It appears the story will unfold over the coming weeks and months. | ramnik007 |
