19/12/2006 16:19 | ramnik, sorry mate but you need to get your head out of whatever book you are reading and join the real world. As I said give me some facts to back up your posts(not conspiracy theories). | cuzy
19/12/2006 16:04 | scotswhaehae agree wholeheartedly. Patience is the key. | cuzy
19/12/2006 16:01 | Cuzy - you state 'posted trades on this board made by institutions' - they are probably the tip of reality. Most of the institutional trading, in my opinion ,is not announced. Several reasons including less than 3% and institutions registered in locations beyond LSE control amongst others. | ramnik007
19/12/2006 15:56 | No need for it all to get personal imho... We are in a nice uptrend and today's RNS is a further help... Up a headline 5% today at the moment after all... With patience and with further proving up this should be a major winner... O/T ZRL's broker WHIreland (WHI) stands to do well from its warrants in ZRL...and its share price is starting to move again too... | scotswhaehae
19/12/2006 14:54 | ramnik - no ignorance on my part and yet again your post contains NO facts. I am happy to listen to anyones theories or views but only when backed up by facts that are in the public domain. I have watched the trades and I have posted the trades on this board made by institutions. They do not indicate an institution is selling. If you have info that suggets otherwise then that information is not in the public domain. | cuzy
19/12/2006 14:39 | PELE Up again - all MM's going blue and moving up - next leg up underway... TAke a look at L2 - rising all the time..... Apparantly going to be on StockmarketTV today.... CEO has gone on record and said 12 million USD net revenue next year Mkt cap 36 million USD A Bargain - Oh yes BUYS AT THE FULL ASK NOW >>>> | pele_online_linitslo
19/12/2006 14:29 | Cuzy - you seem to be ignorant of the fact that when someone buys, someone has to sell. Have you seen any shares traded in ZRL in last few months? That is the evidence!!! | ramnik007
19/12/2006 14:08 | ramnik - I know you did and to be honest it is nonsense. I asked for proof and you have provided none. What volumes. Utter rubbish. The price has gone up again this morning I see. This must be the most bizarre share about. Goes up when everyone is selling!!!!!!!!!!! | cuzy
19/12/2006 08:23 | Cuzy - I have explained earlier why I believe institutions have been selling between 13 - 16p. I still belive that. If they were not selling then the share price would have gone much higher based on the volumes we have seen. The going for a few Uranium companies is currently brilliant, however ZRL is not yet in that category but certainly has a medium to long term potential with all the risks of an explorer. | ramnik007
18/12/2006 23:39 | I thought people/insti's were selling????!!! Ramnik - if the going is brilliant and getting better then I think I will wait until the going is better than brilliant, that I guess will be pretty good!! There really is NO rush with this one. | cuzy
17/12/2006 14:07 | bang on ram if these guys sign a uranium JV soon we are off and running imho that, I think is behind the recent increasing instit stakes | gagner2006
17/12/2006 12:31 | There is no doubt there will be a shortage of Uranium in the short / medium term. However, the humongous value (50 fold increase in sp, which some Uranium exploreres have had in 2.5 years) will go to companies that can meet the Uranium shortfall in the short to medium term. I say his because Uranium is apparently 500 times more abundant than gold. The challenge is who can get it out of the ground both fast and cheap and refine it, while the going is brilliant and getting better. The big boys will only splash out $500 M (required to get mine and processing equipment functional) on a few explorers who have a good chance of recouping their investment quickly. | ramnik007
17/12/2006 09:46 | courtesy of sagem on ura thread: In the Market ... FEEDING FRENZEY FOR URANIUM The quest of buyers to secure uranium at fixed prices continues to fuel the price rise, with any spot material offered up by sellers creating a "feeding frenzy." As a result, the spot price for uranium jumped $7.00 this week to $72.00 per pound U3O8-the single largest increase reported since NUEXCO began publishing prices in 1968. Bids were due December 15 to a US producer auctioning 260 thousand pounds U3O8. Other sellers, in anticipation of future price increases, have grown increasingly reluctant to release material into the market, and thus competition for the auction material was expected to be aggressive. Meeting this expectation, competition was indeed fierce, as buyers exhibited a willingness to pay a strong premium in order to purchase material at a fixed price. The producer received multiple bids with the winning bid at, or very near, the December 15 Uranium Spot Price Indicator of $72.00 per pound U3O8. more | gagner2006
16/12/2006 17:06 | I just came across some info on the number of Uranium explorers quoted on stockmarkets across the world. Guess how many. Approx. 300!!! Well I guess my earlier point is even more relevant. The balancing act for mgt will be to get best value from JV / partnership without leaving it too late and getting minimum/ zero value because the interested companies have gone to competitors. | ramnik007
10/12/2006 17:19 | One thing is becoming more and more apparent, and that is ZRL is sitting on mineral rich territory. How best to exploit it will require some strategic decisions in a timely manner. I think mgt will need to focus, at the earliest, on JV / partnership(s) before nxt years drill season begins so that adequate resources to fast track MOST of the projects can be deployed. And avoid getting to the commodities party way too late. | ramnik007

07/12/2006 21:00 | Zambezi Resources evaluates copper, gold and uranium exploration By: Ronald Mwila Posted: '06-DEC-06 08:00' GMT © Mineweb 1997-2006 LUSAKA (Mineweb.com) --As the year grows to a close, companies are evaluating their performance to assess how they fared during 2006 and what prospects they can look forward to next year. For Zambia-focused, AIM-listed Zambezi Resources Limited (ZRL), the year has been a successful one so far. The company drilled 23,500 metres, completed 40,000 geochemical samples and confirmed the iron oxide, copper-gold and uranium potential of its projects in Lusaka East. In a statement emailed on Tuesday, ZRL announced that at Cheowa, its priority copper-gold project, diamond drilling concluded for the season in late November with the completion of 25 holes. Assay results so far indicate copper grading in excess of one per cent, helping prioritise targets for drilling next year. At Chakwenga, the priority gold project, shear-hosted gold mineralisation has been delineated at surface over a strike length in excess of 1km, and is known to extend to over 100 metres in depth. Assay results included 22 metres at 2.11 grammes per tonne gold, 17m at 1.66 g/t gold, 3m at 5.25 g/t gold and 2m at 6.15 g/t gold. Further assay results are expected in January 2007. The company also reported positive results at its Kangaluwi prospect, which occurs 8km east of the historic Chakwenga Mine, where previous trench sampling returned highly anomalous copper results, including 5m at 4.98% copper and 2m at 4.04% copper. At the flagship uranium project, Oryx, spectrometer readings and trench assays confirmed extensive uranium mineralisation. "The area was originally identified with a heli-borne radiometric survey over an area of 5 square km, and consists of a group of zoned pegmatite bodies. Mineralisation appears particularly related to fine-grained albite zones and late massive quartz-rich zones. Zambezi has carried out trenching over approximately 1,800 metres over a limited area of the anomaly. The trench results show significant uranium grades over widths of up to 50 metres and a peak 1m trench value of 1527ppm U3O8, which was returned from the most northwestern trench, demonstrating the mineral potential outside of the main prospected area. Further results in excess of 500pm U3O8 have also been returned within lower grade (100ppm) broader zones of up to 5m in width," the statement read adding that to confirm the anticipated metallurgical characteristics of the deposit prior to defining a resource, a 100kg sample of davidite has been submitted for metallurgical testwork to determine leach characteristics, and a further bulk sample is being collected to assess the potential to upgrade the mineral to a high grade concentrate. "This program is expected to be completed within four months. Zambezi is also in discussions with offtake parties and an update on these negotiations is expected in the coming months." ZRL managing director Julian Ford said: "We are particularly encouraged by the discovery of copper-gold mineralisation at Cheowa, and expect to complete a JORC compliant resource estimation exercise during February. The development of our copper strategy at Cheowa has been cemented with the recent announcement of the Glencore Joint Venture. Intensive exploration activity continues on our gold and uranium projects and we are optimistic of positive developments. The Chakwenga Project continues to demonstrate its potential for development into a significant new gold camp, and RC drilling will continue after the wet season to accelerate the generation of a JORC compliant resource." | sagem
07/12/2006 19:58 | Looks like the institutions doing there bit of churn again. | ramnik007
07/12/2006 09:48 | ramnick 'slightly' so far! | chaweewan
07/12/2006 08:41 | Dont forget they have uranium potential as well....that is yet to come, totally undervalued at this price...not on investors radar screen as yet. | sagem |
