Posted at 07/11/2007 13:45 by pork belly i wonder what happened to the stock at ebuyer ?"2954 in stock" - 07 Sep 07. "2943 in stock" - 13 Sep 07 "2927 in stock" - 27 Sep 07 "2919 in stock" - 05 Oct 07 "198 available for pre-order" - 07 Nov 07 Looks like ZGP had them on "sale or return". ebuyer couldn't sell them and returned them. You can now only pre-order them as Ebuyer can't even be bothered stocking them. I suppose ,if in a bullish mood, you could say they sold ALL 2919 in the past 4 weeks pre IPHONE launch ;0) It was such a good indicator of "sales" that the lack of them on a major website could have dampened investors enthusiasm, hence being returned. |
Posted at 27/9/2007 13:35 by jimmycarter Thanks for the feedback guys. That is a shame Porky. I just don't get it sometimes. A great product that you may spend years developing but then non existent appreciation for other aspects of business. I am hoping this product sells itself in some respects. Develops its own media interest Ie through write ups etc. But adds in magazines towards their target audience or even a an advert on TV or advertising on internet sites. I know it all cost money and they need to decided the best way to spend it to maximise sales. I just don't know if they do. Hoping the word gets round about this produst. At the moment I think it is just investors who know about this product! Sure there is more to it then just this. Hoping so...! |
Posted at 18/9/2007 05:03 by tanazuk jc, granted onshare turned out to be a real dog hence the co. is to write it off. Considering cost reductions are achieved from a burn of £115K / month to say £80K that means the co. are seriously looking towards investor value. This would also indicate that they have confidence in their current portfolio of products and want to continue as a business. If not, than why try to achieve a cost reduction? Just bail out now and bring the co. in to liquidation and stop messing around with the PI's. We are still to see the real marketing of SMT and hopefully this will happen 'immenently'. Use the technology for compression of further media types than this becomes an interesting situation for the co. overnight. I work in an environment where even though disk space is cheap, we are constantly using winzip / winrar to compress log files to conserve disk space. In this current climate where accountabilty of firms is of paramount importance, you will find that every email, document and file is being kept by co's for legal, compliance and statutory reasons. Think about it. |
Posted at 13/9/2007 09:45 by dangerous brian What you have here is the actions of a very desperate poster who has boughtaround 20p then bought again at 13-14p and again at 12p, probably most of the buy trades will be 1smarts, if he can get the bid up another penny he will dump the lot as it cuts his loss down. Robin. He is by far the worst person to use this site, prepared to post whatever lie it takes however if you look at the trades all it does is scare any potential investor away, people like 1smart should be reported to the FSA because they are blatantly posting lies non stop but will the FSA act against a kid desperate to con others ? |
Posted at 12/9/2007 15:42 by someuwin Can't see any real investors taking this one seriously now. |
Posted at 12/9/2007 08:53 by baner sheik yerbouti -your comments are very relevant indeed - thanks for reminding! this is very close to "actively misleading" investors. |
Posted at 31/7/2007 11:32 by lewis winthorpe I think the doubt from the potential investors is takup of the product. To me it seems a little bit of a dead duck unless it hits off with the I phone. Just don't see its appeal. HD will use MP4 so I can see this becoming standard so MP3 could have limited life. Its a gamble. No forcasted sales figures with a lets see how they do at HMV. I will monitor this from afar for now. LW. |
