16/4/2024 14:32 | Sparky"Matters not YU are screwed as Shell are terrible at hedging apparently PMSL"Well their previous record with their own supply company would sort of suggest they are (or to be precise they were) terrible at hedging. Unless you can explain why they lost millions even after throwing over a £billion at the business. | disc0dave46
16/4/2024 14:23 | Sparky You always try to deflect when called out about your sell trades, I’m not agitated in the slightest as I’ve said I find it quite enlightening!. As for your PE 10 comment, I will say what I’ve always said, the number one UK business energy supplier is on a PE of about 7 - 8. YU is in a highly regulated sector and is a speculative high risk stock. Yes it’s growing but not anywhere near enough, taken them over ten years to gain a very small part of the market - they are all chasing the same customers, check out all the energy comparison sites specific to businesses. They are relying solely on their hedging capabilities which as I’ve posted is a very big unknown. I shall keep watching and waiting for some signal of which way this is going. It’s still overbought but not showing any clear signals as yet as to which way it wants to go. A benefit of a long SB is you also get the dividend. Have a good day :) | disc0dave46

16/4/2024 12:53 | You seem to forget our PE is 10, not exactly stretched for a high growth stock Have a good day | sparky333
16/4/2024 11:36 | Apparently higher energy prices are bad and also falling as well strange view from thou who shall not be named.Another fun fact 2023 average price was 83p a therm 2024 May or may not be higher Matters not YU are screwed as Shell are terrible at hedging apparently PMSL | sparky333
16/4/2024 11:33 | Always good to post facts UK natural gas futures surged to above 81 pence a therm, the highest level since January 5th, in line with the upward trend in the European benchmark. Iran attacked Israel during the weekend, and Israel is set to retaliate, although the specifics of their response remain unclear. Meanwhile, an unplanned outage at Norway's Nyhamna processing plant caused a temporary drop in gas flows and forecasts indicate lower winds and temperatures in the continent. Additionally, supply risks persist in Europe due to Russian attacks on Ukrainian storage sites while imports of LNG from Asian countries is on the rise, with imports from China reaching 6.61 million tons in March.Place your bets 100p or 60p in the couple of weeks | sparky333

16/4/2024 10:52 | SparkyAbsolutely nothing stopping you fromfiltering me, go for it.But I find what you post to be most enlightening, not about the business as you simply post the same old same old, but to you everything is set as per the past, it's black and white, there's no alternative - not something I'd see from any mature well balanced investor. There's always an opposing view, that's how the market works, but definitely not in the mind of Sparky and all his children - kind of sad really that a person/s attacks someone, a stranger and their family, simply because they don't agree on a particular scenario of how the future may pan out!, unbelievable IMO. | disc0dave46
16/4/2024 10:48 | Indeed daveboy yes I have a certain bond with my mate 😍 how about a promotion Dave? | diohohku

16/4/2024 10:39 | Diohohku16 Apr '24 - 10:17 - 13190 of 13193 0 2 0 Just to reiterate the kind of person we are dealing with, sorry to see I didn't make the list 😂 It is curious indeed - I'd have thought you'd be promoted to Creche Manager! | daveboy19
16/4/2024 10:34 | Ps when was it that Shell took over contractually?, the past performance is definitely not any indication of the future yet you think it is, which is strange. | disc0dave46 |
