When are you going to bring some positive spin ?

SparkyWould agree about a BB, did think they were going to declare one, with all that alleged cash on the books (not saying it's false but they aren't too good at accounting!) why the reluctance?, similarly why take on any debt like they have?, dividend isn't exactly eating into it either.Anyway, would appreciate some evidence.Re your statement that forecasts increased five fold - or was it another one of your well documented false statements?.

The facts are as I've posted. Think you need to read some of the reviews that businesses have given in terms of their dealings with YU.Managing customer debt has not a lot to do with whether or not they are overcharging their customers, so don't quite see your relevance tbh, in fact it could be viewed as they know they are charging too much and offer assistance with customers struggling to pay their excessive charges. But hey you also have an agenda as a holder which is fair enough, I've no issues there, but clearly when it's an opposing view a lot do have issues here.

They are more likely to go for the special from the sounds of the in-house broker...
Thought the same thing, Sparky. II's will see the latest info and be all over this, even more.

so why is this relevant. YU do not rip off anyone, if you look at their pricing you will find it is very competitive - hence the meter point growth.
What YU do is very effectively manage debt. If someone gets into debt then they can be switched to PAYG, this manages the debt for the customer, allows them to carry on trading, avoids disconnections and stops the supplier carrying the debt. Win- win-win

But, is suppose your headline is more dramatic than the facts

The buyback option is tabled at the AGM every year-it was there at the 2023 AGM. Most companies table it at AGMs - only a few usually utilise it.

Interesting The share buy back resolution, allows for up to 10% of the shares to be bought on the market, within quite a generous price mechanism (over the normal 5% premium of the average closing price in the previous 5 trading days). That would put a firework under the SP

See the words:The government said that for the first time companies with fewer than 50 employees would be able to access free redress and support from the energy ombudsman to help resolve disputes with suppliers over rip-off energy deals, without costly court procedures.

Exciting set of events being timetabled after the AGM on 23/5/24.
Cancellation of prem a/c, leading on to special dividend and/or share buyback...
That gives an extra £11.9M available to distribute to s/h as special, plus £20M suggested by Lib earlier would be approx £2/share!
Not to mention interim dividend afterwards. What II wouldn't want in. Could be a scramble for shares and sellers are raving bonkers unless the funds are urgently required.
I'd sell all my dogs to buy more of these (if I hadn't done so already ages ago)!!

Basically the problem is no stock, there are 8 brokers they are not getting enough to sell on.

Not sure how they didn’t know there is little stock we have known forr a year or two!

This is what I was told 30mins ago by my broker who is not one of the brokers in the market on this share.

Makes me think unless they take the price up they won’t get any trade, unless that does not bother them.

So I think they just don’t know what to do and are not bothered as they are all the same basically on strike !
