Oh yeah. Think I messed my maths up. I stand corrected. That would be amazing growth from where it is now. Let's call it 120-130 revenue. Anyway we will have a better idea end of March.RC

Thanks RC, think your dreaming when it comes to £200m with 5/6% margin for 2021, if that happened then share price really would go ballistic! Perhaps 2022/2023 for those figures is abit more realistic imho. It's about profit not turnover, as they say in golf drive for show and putt for dough.

Anyway on the right track and in for the long haul.

Keep the faith and feet on the ground.

Some good posts from Sparky and Seagull. I'm willing to listen to the cons but not if they are based on backwards looking data. They do have to pay the vat that was deferred, so I take that on board. You have to look forward though. With the lockdown gone by June imo then 6 months of srong growth will be factored in by market come results at end of March. As Sparky comments come end of March and they report 110-120m booked revenue for FY21 then forecasts of around 200m could be made at a margin of 5-6%It would be great to see an acquisition before year end results and they wouldn't need a placing for that. They have cash.RC

Lots of direct and indirect clues in RNS. Valuation still low, so few shares and even fewer free floats. Abodes well and could hit £5-£6 quite easily before the results.
2 to 3 years perhaps £15-£20. Buy and hold.

SighMeter point numbers at 31 December 2020 now approaching 18,000 (2019: 8,724).4,400 via purchases18,000 - 8724-4400 = 4876 and that was after totally washing out low margin contracts and most in Q4 2020 as went from 14000 to 18000.

I don't think they did 4,000 organically in Q4 2020

Its all about meter points they can build 3000 to 5000 organically given the current set up. If they want more they will need to go on a buying spree which means rising cash.

I for 1 like to hear all sides of the arguement pro's and cons, so good to have some balance from posters like Me Me who makes some good points. However, calling BK a wide boy I don't agree with from what I have observed albeit he is vested in getting best image across and is perhaps a little economical with the truth, I prefer to think of him as a canny operator but, do tend to take what he presents with a degree of caution, and he wouldn't have strengthened the board and attracted that calibre of staff if they thought he was a wide boy imho. I am sure he is more acutely aware than most that if the YU board does over promise and they drop the ball again, then it's going to be extremely difficult for the company, BK and the directors going forward who have staked their reputations on building a strong challenger to the top 6. Also, I think you are wide of the mark suggesting that growth rate of 3000 meter points a year, when they have doubled the meter points in 12 months while improving the systems and resetting the business. I personally think £130- £140m turnover is very achievable with over £90m already booked for 2021. They quoted on around 7% of market so, they are getting noticed and I'm sure there is plenty more decent margin contracts up for grabs on the remaining 93% of an increasing market.

I may well add to my holding on results and update at the end of March but, will wait and see. Fingers crossed patience will be rewarded.

FY 2021 I forecast revenue at 130 to 150m and MPs at 25 to 35000A lot of this is dependant takeoversOrganic growth only 130m Rev 25k MP on the low side as I expect the economy will go into orbit post April as UK consumers go crazy But I do expect a couple of customer book purchases and if this is the case 35k MPs and revenue around 150m+ isn't stretched You talk about the 2.5b tendered for , yes obviously tendered at higher margins that competitors so good job only taking high quality clients at higher margins, what's the point getting 2b in revenue if the net margin is negative 2018 rings bells ?5% net margin so potentially 3m profit 2021 that would put YU on a PE of 15 not exactly stretched For a high growth company PE of 30 is normal giving a MC of £90m Now the company is all about increasing revenue as the overheads are mainly static from here.MC at £5 per share is not stretched on what we currently know and when FY figures come out end of March and we see 2021 Q1 numbers this could very quickly race to £10 as the market area forward looking by 6 to 12 months What if Q1 YU added 3000MP ? They added 4000 is Q4 2020 and 2021 booked revenue is already 120m the numbers start exploding upwards very quickly. So is YU overvalued , no and if my thinking is correct March could be absolutely huge

Trader Trev Drax purchased Opus for 340 mill they had 300,000 meter points. Based on this I would say Yu are worth 19 million. Nice you pointing out 5% gross profit margin in 2019 for Opus. You think it will be better in 2020? At 50 million Yu. is currently over valued.

Meme, it appears rather disingenuous to focus only on the latest results for comps being H1'20 which were all substantially Covid-affected. The "Customers" division (previously called B2B Energy Supply, including Opus Energy) made segment EBITDA of £17.4m (including £8m of restructuring costs) in 2019 on Turnover of £2,269m and Gross Profit of £134m.
Drax 2020 full year results due next week, so we should get an updated picture then.

1me do you know how stupid you sound!!! 'It will go upto £5 only because of the free float'. PMSL. It would go up to that level, because individuals/institutions are willing to buy upto that level, and that's what the market would assign to the value of YU. To say it would only go up to that level because of the low free float haha you should be nowhere near investing in shares if that is how you understand things. Best of luck dearamping all the way up to previous highs!!

Deferring PAYE, VAT and CCL to make the balance sheet look good. Yes I have read the RNS. They mention the have tendered for 2.5 billion in business but they fail to mention they won less than 0.3% of it and then go on to say they only going for high profit margin business. They are telling half the story. Bobby still the wide boy and seems not to have learned from his past mistakes. I don't mind any one making money here but some of the poster on here need a reality check.
