Missed spike in gas today, 150p a therm next ? H1 25 should see the affect of rapidly rising energy costs as said previously seems to be a time lag of when the actual effect takes places so 2025 should be a blinder

Yes Ricky correct.H2 monthly average bookings was just £38.3m, down from £46.9m in H124, £59.7m in H223 and £51.3m in H123.Based on bookings and subsequent revenue outturn for FY24, then FY 25 could be Rev of about £700m, consensus was £746m. Thats looking like another miss of over 6%....cant see an earnings margin increase of that magnitude can you?

Cash on the BS is actually reducing when you net off the cash collateral which now IMO is ringfenced as part of Shells liquidity covenants - you don?t think they are taking the risks they do for nothing, IMO it?s bound to be more than the previous ?50m, a lot more.

Looks like a revenue miss for FY25 too IMO, going on bookings and forecast income. That could drop through to a bottom line profit and eps miss as well.Rawson can't forecast, that's why they beat and that's why they will miss. Trouble is when you set the bar too high as Rawson has clearly been told to do and then miss the market reacts as it has, just like his first forecast for FY19 profits which panned out at a loss.Brokers forecasts are simply his forecasts if folks think otherwise then they don't know how this game is played.

One thing I have learned today is the trail on energy prices, so the last 6 months of the relentless rise in gas for example will not be realised until end of H1 25.2025 shaping up to be a cracker

Could be that CFO who fudged it all up. Explains why always knocking Rawson, his replacement, who hasn't put a foot wrong. Must be grating.

With the commodity cycle likely to wash through soon, the base effect of this means that future revenue growth will be more correlated with volume growth. At this stage of the cycle this is hugely positive for investors if the company can maintain its volume growth rates anywhere near historic levels. The contracted order book provides excellent revenue visibility with our revenue forecast for FY25E having over 79% cover. Supplied meter points could easily reach 100k+ this year. Smart meter roll-outs continue to gain pace with Yu Group now having an installed base of 22.9k smart meters (+169% YoY) which generates an index-linked annuity revenue base of £1.3m. With the stock trading on a FY25E P/E rating of
