So, anyone care to back the £40+ evaluation with some cold, hard figures?

Or is the banter here typical, meaningless ADVFN "commentary"?

I'm quite interested in investing in another brewery, particularly after H&H, but sadly Sharelockholmes puts this company on a P/E (historic) of over 35.

Doesn't sound particularly like good value sadly :-(.

Any other brewers offering more appealing fundamentals?

Just sitting some cash some where quiet and safe.... well I reckon it is?
lots of lovely cash coming in at atrt of year so something to look forward to, lets hope they use it wisely.!

The interims should be out sometime next week. I hope the results will stop
the gradual slide in the share price and a quick return back into the £30's.(please!)

MAB shareholders looking to do the same. IMO I think Young's management will watch and wait to see what happens to others in the sector, and see if it is right for us. There may be an announcement of cash to shareholders or share buybacks at the next results in Nov. when the rest of the Ram brewery monies owed (payable Jan 2008), are paid to Young's.
REIT's out of favour (short term) at the moment, but can see that turning when interest rates decline. (Rate rise expected this week).

Greene king stonking away today after results, reckon their nav is about £900m and mark cap 1500m, will YNGA/N follow their lead with releasing value? If so lets get some more? ANY VIEWS lundhousegreen?

Flight to safety, Happy to sit here and ride out the storm, Can't find many better AIM stock to be in and carry forward IHT relief, I mean what better place to wait in than a pub! !
