It says Young's are a prime takeover target, the rule being run over the company by rival pub operators, private equity firms, and property companies. "There's a lot of interest around Young's and could be the next big deal in the pub sector" said a banker last week. Marston's, Greene King, and Punch Taverns are quoted as interested.
