Seems like America has changed its relationship with the free market theory. If political pressure now bends what deemed a good or bad investment how can you trust that market? Or ever be sure that your capital can ever be realised. The world has changed, I'm not sure if confidence can ever be restored to international markets.

VXO - near record complacency.
USB - Long Bond closed below key 143.29 level on Friday. If this doesn't rally in the next few sessions then low 141 on the cards. What is the implication of this? Interest rates could be under severe pressure. Perhaps the catalyst - will almost certainly require intervention. This happens - watch gold....

Will be interesting to see volumes here in the coming sessions/weeks.

FTR - don't hold as of today. Looking to acquire in stages but extent and frequency will depend of course on wider markets.
