We will know by this weekend. Gas will no longer determine the price of electricity from other sources. No doubt the politicians will be crowing from the rooftops and calling it the renewable's dividend. EU plans €200/MWh price cap on non-gas generated electricity |

Posted at 27/10/2019 13:19 by tenapen Hi LUDERITZ,Out of boredom I looked back on google to see what price XUKS was when you started this thread .... all of those years ago = £12.43p and now £3.76 I keep an open eye for any change of mood in the markets but with the US elections next year i can't see any downturn until after that. IMHO If anyone thinks different i would like to read and learn. regards. |

Posted at 13/9/2019 22:38 by muffinhead Good question... could be a while with MRW "breakaway gap". There was some committed buying volume before the results (leak!)Gaps offer nice targets so always worth noting for the future Playing the gap MRW results were not stunning, better than the gloomsters expected and generous dividend payout However, revenue was only up 0.4%, lower than inflation No net increase in store numbers Amazon and wholesale yet to shine while Lidl/Aldi continue to expand Basically MRW is focusing on cash generation and paying it out to shareholders. Cash is king when central banks are trying to kill all savers This is a big gap! free stock charts from uk.advfn.com |

Posted at 26/5/2019 20:58 by muffinhead National Grid... Ofgem 24/5/2019Ofgem wants return on equity of 4.3% and lower allowed return on debt would reduce costs passed to consumers by £6bn over five years to 2026. Set that against current double digit ROE 18.85% PE of 10 based on lowered ROE set against current 2021 analyst forecast of 62.5p = shareprice 625p....could go lower as current dividend cover only 1.3. Current dividend may not be covered with ROE of 4.3% in 2021 Current tangible NAV 366p Going lower imo as 2021 comes into view Quarterly chart free stock charts from uk.advfn.com |
