Not much interest here, but I've stayed long gold, silver, platinum and palladium, and been very glad that I have.

Anyone around with comments/crystal ball re these and also the agriculture and all commodities equivalents? Any input welcomed.

The dollar's going south, so that pushes up the dollar price, which is reflected in less pounds sterling as the dollar falls, but more dollars because of it. Anyhoo ... I'm staying long 'cos there's precious little out there you can rely upon at this time.

I guess its when you work it into £ that matters - I was lucky to pick these up when gold was at £400ish / ounce.

Hi. Well, we got up to $955 today and then dropped a lttle due to the markets' rise; but I'm happy to stay in as gold and silver are on a longer term run-up in my view.

This is a good one to hitch up to for the ride the ways things are now, but there's no-one here bothered, it seems.

correction, or party over? We shall see if it stops here or at 15

Below 15 and its going to be nasty for gold bugs.

Declining cable should lessen the pain for Brit investors though.

The rise of cable has meant these haven't performed much recently despite the rise in Silver and Gold (in $ terms), however a drop in cable may help but then a rise in dollar should be negative for gold.....

Bottom line is what the money supply in UK does long term....

A long way I'd say - if the Fed keeps pumping money $2000 gold?

PMs have been rocketing recently; predictions of gold breaking $1000, Silver over $20, Platinum shortage. How long and how far can this bull run go?
