Good argument, except that the HS search is really fundamentally broken - anything about a year old returns garbage

How about deleting some threads and parts of threads.

For example, some threads have thousands of posts in them. Is someone really going to read them all?

Other threads are only one post long. How about deleting them after say 15 months or indeed any thread where the last post is over 15 months old and has a newer thread?

I remember when you could search for content in a thread...

I remember when you could search for given periods right back to the start of the BB...

I remember when you had a tick box so you would get the posts matching rather than the whole thread...

I remember when ADVFN looked to increase functionality rather than take it away...

Zzaxx - that may be, but we've been having multiple BB failures which have been affecting the entire site, and it was due to people doing searches.
