Posted at 13/11/2024 18:44 by odillon fennersI have been critical of management for example the time when they spoke of improved communication and then did not provide an update by the date that they said they would. I also expressed concern that they had taken on board a major investor who had previously been convicted of making away without payment of a taxi fare. The Court found that there was no dishonestly but that he had been extremely drunk to a degree that he failed to pay the fare believing that he had done so. That high value investor went on to sink the share price via a sell off of, I understand, his entire holding. |
Posted at 12/10/2024 00:15 by fenners66 I can call out an idea that a Nomad - even if they were going to be replaced ; you know like auditors can be replaced at any time - would not throw its toys out of the pram and resign leaving a company's shares suspended and the investors no avenue to trade and all the associated consequences for the welbeing and reputation of the company that employed them as BS.Because it is. If your business is ensuring a company can trade its shares - you don't leave them in the lurch , because they may replace you in the future - no one would touch you with a bargepole. Auditors do not resign half way through an audit just because the client is inviting tenders for the job. Nomads have their reputation to worry about as well. I guess you are desperate to paint this in a better light for some reason - but painting the Nomad as effectively not to be trusted is the wrong focus. |
Posted at 29/6/2023 17:04 by odillon I have done a little background reading on the two new investors introduced by Miles Pelham. I very much like what I have seen about the Scottish investor. I am a little worried about the other investor having been found guilty (some years ago) of making off without paying a taxi fare, although I note that the Court did not take the view that there was dishonesty but rather that it came about as a result of him being extremely drunk - the accused conceded the drunkenness and asserted that he believed he had paid the fare. |

Posted at 19/4/2023 11:31 by the_debt_collector Have a feeling this will bounce hard this afternoon, the BOD are well connected and I would not be surprised to see US investors buy in.My bet is it will be trading above .75p by the end of the week. |
Posted at 19/4/2023 07:31 by genierub Anyone stock being bought in 3s is going to see a recovery PURELY based on a pump. Most investors are locked in at 1p-1.2p.This is a literal no brainer. See you at 0.8ish 0.377 about to be paid and MMs all moving to 4s. |
Posted at 13/3/2023 08:20 by flughafen17 Chance for investors to buy in at the floor, the shares were 4p in September before Miles Pelham started selling his 20% stake, he is now long gone. |
Posted at 13/3/2023 07:55 by m1sterx You can bet your bottom $ that a large part of this placing was forward sold, just look at the volumes prior. One suspects retail investors will return now. |
Posted at 28/2/2023 09:18 by burtond1 Time for a punt on Woodbois ask @TMSreach "...Might now be the right time to look at an ambitious company with a low price/earnings ratio reporting strong sales? Currently trading at 1.5p, WBI, a £30m market cap, does look rather enticing. Prospective investors should also note that a couple of major stakeholders have been offloading shares in the past few weeks..."https://total |
Posted at 24/2/2023 11:38 by mattab Why have RV, MP and OAM selling down and likely out and at these levels... and who is buying is the more salient point. Seems the trades have just been bound up to retail investors to me as - unless I am wrong there is no evidence so far of an Institution buying. Which unless one does manifest itself and the volume involved for months on end I certainty would have expected something. Did hold back in the OBT days and did profit - amazingly! It was obvious that when this got pumped for any holder it was a definite sell. At this juncture I.I. were evident they were selling and converting shares continually. Red flag sell into strength. Day before yesterday they were dumping massive amounts at1.3 pence. MM have had an epic task to dump this stock for months so to create the market they will move it up as yesterday. Would not be surprised if this goes under 1p - silence from the company is deafening. Is any Institution interested at this level? |
