Morning, well when I spoke to the liquidator late last week he said the money shouldn't take very long at all now. TD said it would take a day to process.. the wait is nearly over.

Grey, damp and raining :0( bring back the dry weather please..rain on it's way Harold, you got that nice little pad sorted out in the south of France yet?

Hi Futters, how's things?

TSG, my shares are held in a SIPP (thanks Numpties for holing my pension below the water line) and individually. My broker is on notice to let me know as soon as funds have arrived and I will advise.

I am keen to know how much was left and whether or not the Numpties have tried to take out "management fees" - or, in their case, "mis-management fees".

Raining here but the All Blacks play The Boks this afternoon.

Ivan, there is proven amount of oil on the Las Quinchas contract but we were hampered by a useless operator in Krappa. The other issue was sand but that can be overcome by producing the sand to the surface. This could have been a workable field.

Ivan, you are correct. The Numpties should have passed on the ORRI liabilities but it seems that they overlooked it. Sadly, IMHO, we can't claim against them for being stupid which is a shame as it would be an open and shut case.

Why, when the Las Quinches contract was sold, was there not a clause transferring the future obligations to Moyes and co, to the new owner? This would have saved us being subject to any claim. It is very uncertain whether production will ever trigger the payments to the extent portrayed, so we end up paying for something that may or may not ever happen over the next 9 years. Especially as we know that the sand problems in the block will quite probably prevent the reserves in the block from ever being fully exploited.

After we sold the contract, I noted that there was production from Baul, which we did not participate in, and so never obtained any financial benefit from it whatsoever. But we have to pay the royalties?

Also, as we only had an initial 50% interest in the contract, can I assume the other 50% holder (Kappa, now Pacific Rubiales), and also the Canadians who owned half of our holding company Las Quinches Resources,(Prospero/Alange/PetroMagdelena, and who were then also bought by Pacific Rubiales), are also paying their 75% share of the claim?

Could this add to the feelings of gross negligence and maladministration by the Numpties? In my opinion, definitely yes.
