Hola. Lanzarote fantastic and have been trying to rid the island of vino blanco glass by glass. And to think, what I lost in WBN would have bought a modest apartment here.

Oh well, at least the sun is shining and the wine flowing.

Crickey - I wonder what the final dividend will be and whether or not The Numpties have taken out "management charges"?? One thing for sure is that The Right Honourable Sir TB will have taken his fee to the last penny.

Cliveas, cheers. I will take what free advice I can in the first instance. Have also received news from another shareholder whois also willing to chip in.

There is a definate whiff about this deal as the figures quoted by Ivan appear to be similar to what WBN would have received.

Been a frustrating day as the news is all about brilliant sunshine and heat whereas its rained all morning in Barnstaple. Still, I made some fresh pesto sauce with basil from the greenhouse which I am now enjoying with spaghetti.

Wilbury, so sorry to hear of your sad news. As others have said, events at WBN are put into perspective.

It crosses my mind that if the Numpties have reached an agreement to pay Moyes and Co $425k - and these are not the sort of people who spend money gratuitously - then there must have been merit to the claim.

The claim was for unpaid royalties which, I think, was 3% of turnover. So if they paid $424k, that implies unreported income of $14m. If so, where has that money gone? Was it under reporting by Kappa and, if so, wouldn't that be fraud? Does WBN have a claim against Kappa?

I just figured that he would be too busy spending the fees that he still earns from WBN for representing the interests of the Minority shareholders.

Raining here.

Discovered that we have a rabbit in the garden who has taken an interest in our veg plot so looking forward to rabbit stew in the near future.

Headache Gis - you sure that you are not a secret brewer yourself?

3 pints a day is 90 a month plus shandy for Mrs L and friends who drop by and it soon adds up so I brew up twice a month. Not quite yet in liver transplant and rehab territory.

I enjoy trying different recipes. Tried the Hop BAck Summer Lightning this evening and its still cloudy so needs to mature. Showing some promise though.

I need to drink as it dulls the pain of the losses that I have incurred in WBN at the hands of the Numpties.

TSG, I am assuming that as things haven't been settled then there is a dispute between the two parties. If Moyes and Co are right then it would appear on the surface that WBN has not received the correct information from the Operator - hence the possibility of pursuing a case aqainst them for fraud/mis-representation.

Beautiful day here. In the garden planting asparagus crowns and main crop potato.

TSG, if this is contested then it could go to litigation in which case it could take ages.

If Moyes and Co are correct and that oil has been produced and reported to the relevant auithorities in Colombia but not by the operator to the partners then, as far as I can see, that would be fraud in which case WBN would have a substantial claim.

Played like an idiot over the weekend - very disappointing - but the brew yesterday went like a dream. Followed that up with my best round of the year so far.

Maybe my luck is turning.
