So consider the sell side iof volume

That’s a lot of money on big volume, not willing to hold a 350 or 500p expectation

Only question now is were they right or wrong?

None of us know that yet

In my mind, a lot of smart money selling on the rise on this instance

Rarely is anyone left holding the baby, only retail

Two markets though. Institutions and gerbils (retail)

I doubt there was much fund buying if any on Friday. They are normally in well before time.

So this price is all retail imo

And let’s not forget, needed sellers to make 43% buy side increase

If it wasn’t retail selling to drive volume, who was it?

The reason the price is 300p is because that's what the market believes to be a fair price. They're not often too far out.
They may have been offered 250p or 450p but the market and us PI's don't know.
The price this week will give us an indication of what's on the table.
If there is a rival bid I would expect price maybe nearer 350p plus if not then around current price will probably see it through.Given the price was in the 40s not long ago I don't think anybody will moan too much.

It’s pretty simple isn’t it?

Let’s say 300p is true
Above it now. Not much upside on 300p offer

If I was a fund and believed 300p, I’d dump the whole lot. Cause supply and RebuY again

Less risk and more return . Make twice on same price

Only if I believed 300p of course

Don’t know why you think I’d waste time here trying to affect share price anyway
Only way I could do that is get a job with an institution and dump all the holding

Well if that was true, what do we call speculating £10 from buy side?

Well nobody complained when I called it a buy

I’m only expressing my own position and dealing

As everyone else is

It is advisable to consider both sides of market at all times

...

Big returns on the table... market punt done ... risk all buy side now as the 300p assumed offer seems to be speculated and bet upon

Past performance isn't a guide to future success. You are looking in the past, the US is looking to the future. I know you are upset that you were impatient and sold out even though a bid this year was very extreme. Your lose, hopefully you will learn from your mistakes especially when it hit you in your pocket. I guess your name gave it away, Spartan ATTACK. Attacking everyone. See you when you forget to buy into 888!

Offer on 170 share price day then but talks much lower share price so 155 is a generous consideration of the time, for talks
spartan attack

If we look at the time talks and letter of intent occurred , and let’s assume an excellent 30% premium

That’s circa 155 x1.3

So let’s say 201.5 and then there actuslly is a bidding war

So let’s get really extreme and say that’s pushed price from initial 30% premium to 60% premium on initial talks etc

248

These are extreme premiums even in tech markets so it’s being very generous as an extrapolation

250 at extreme end imo

Well that is wrong. They put in an offer on 27th August. It has been revised twice.

Either way, somebody was buying and selling on behalf of at least 2 sides/funds, fair to assume

So I think even if it all fell apart, they are going to make

Typical move

According to Sunday Times caesars made multiple bids on Friday and are favourites to buy but it could be less than 3.12 Friday price

If I’m right they submitted an offer when share price was around 150p?

Surely it’s not 300p
