Gozzie- Any sensible person reading my post will be able to recognise I was just adding information to the subject that was being discussed. I didn't even offer an opinion on it, just thought it was relevant. The information is from the CDC ffs.

Anyhow I think you need to get the doctor to up your dosage.

Mentalist.

Despite only being available for the last 15 days of the year in the U.S the Pfizer vaccine went straight to number 3 on the list of highest adverse reactions to a vaccine in 2020 according to the CDC.

If they vaccinate enough people, even with a vaccine effectiveness of less than 100%, it should stop the virus spreading as the R (transmissibility) value will fall below one (the value below which the virus infects fewer and fewer people). It gets snuffed out, except where maybe it's being brought in from outside where people aren't being vaccinated.

That's the plan I should think. That way even people who refuse the vaccine get a significant level of protection.

Well with no vaccine the deaths and hospitalisations will be far worse every year .People aren't forced to take the vaccine, but covids a very unpleasant experience for many .I would rather take a chance with the vaccine .

Once hospitalisations and deaths are at an acceptable level to them and the Nhs can cope, unfortunately its something we will have to live with .These different mutations are coming in all the time with the lax restrictions of people entering the country .Hopefully the vaccine will stop many getting so poorly that they need hospital.

The simple answer no one really knows the long term effects. That's why it normally takes 5 years of trials to develop a vaccine

CDC and Pfizer are investigating death of 'very healthy' Miami obstetrician 16 days after he received the vaccine and suffered a brain hemorrhage

The problem is, Gozzie, Gov don't want to tell people that the vacc may not work on some people - but everyone who is vaccinated will think they're immune, even if they aren't. Human nature will mean they will be less careful and aside from putting themselves in more danger, they also endanger everyone else.

They dont know if you can still transmit the virus .The more you read the less great things seem .I've not totally told mum, its best not to give her any more worry .

This Pfizer most are only going to be 52 percent and the booster is not sure to work .It still tells you to distance and act like you have it .Thats not great for socialising.

Even at 95% effective that means 50 in a 1000 it doesn't give immunity - but they think they're immune.
And no-one in the 1000 knows who the 50 are.
