09/11/2020 12:51 | Any one any idea why the share price has risen by 14% in the last hour? Been tipped anywhere? Sorry for the OT post lol | jonut
09/11/2020 12:47 | It may have already mutated .I suspect you haven't watched the video .In fact I know you haven't so you never learn anything. | gozzie2
09/11/2020 12:46 | Relatively mild in comparison to what could happen .It will happen again because people like yourself are so complacent. | gozzie2
09/11/2020 12:40 | Oh so this is mild then is it? Funny that's what many of us have been saying all along. Took you long enough to catch on to it! Amazing. -------------------- GOZZIE29 Nov '20 - 12:37 - 5887 of 5887 The next virus maybe a lot more virulent than this. This is a fairly mild one things could get a lot worse .Dont listen at your peril . | guitarhaggis

09/11/2020 12:32 | Once the majority of the public accept the health passports which will mean you'll need to be up to date with all your jabs to be allowed out of the house there'll be new 'outbreaks' of different 'threats' every other week. | guitarhaggis
09/11/2020 12:20 | Sorry to put a downer on things but I used to watch this guy early on in the pandemic .He's very good and has some concerns. He's worth listening to and the South Korean doc in march that I listened to that has gotten everything correct so far said similar things. These viruses will continue to happen frequently he suggested every 3 years until we stop eating and messing about with animals we shouldn't be .Its not taken long for this to come true .Just a warning. hTTps://youtu.be/3Qv | gozzie2
09/11/2020 12:14 | Glen, congrats, well done. | essentialinvestor
09/11/2020 12:13 | Well, I am glad I kept my nerve and held on to JDW shares. Happy days are here again (hopefully!) | glenowen
09/11/2020 11:56 | Indeed Gozzie All this moving online makes it more important than ever for both physical and mental health to force yourself to go out and exercise/keep fit.Sorry to be totally off thread lol | tim 3
09/11/2020 11:09 | They was saying these headsets 5g will make it look like you are at a concert or in the crowd at a football match. Why bother paying to go to the stadium as well .Thats the future life in our head . | gozzie2
09/11/2020 11:05 | In a while nobody will move .What a life. | gozzie2
09/11/2020 10:56 | The way learning is going, do we even need Universities at all. All going online... Why have these huge Old Buildings that must cost a fortune to maintain plus the staffing levels, will they become extinct. Mess up the Club and Bar trade in University towns though. | ignoble
09/11/2020 10:43 | Not suggesting we do that but some moves like more remote learning in colleges and universitys certainly for a while could have a big positive effect on slowing the spread imo. | tim 3
09/11/2020 10:41 | think the mutated version of Sars 2 may pose an issue for all those Pharmas trying to get a vaccine out. | rescuer
09/11/2020 07:41 | Tim 3 seriously ?? 👀 👀 but if we do exterminate the entire age ranges of 4 years to 24 years ...... who is going pay the bill for FURLOUGH for the next 30 years ??? still ..........on the plus side, the Government's Fiscal Deficit would improve slightly if money wasnt wasted on Education | ukneonboy
08/11/2020 22:40 | I think if this lockdown fails he will have to bite the bullet and do something about where the virus is really spreading, in schools and colleges. A tiny amount of the virus is passed on on pubs and restaurants. | tim 3

08/11/2020 16:10 | Add the Black Pudding... Just seems to go so well with their Trad Brekkie | ignoble
08/11/2020 15:47 | Might be a good BUYING opportunity GOZZIE ? especially if the JDW share price falls to the price of a 'Spoons Curry Club meal deal. I can't see the price dropping as far as a 'Spoons Regular Breakfast with Extra Hash Browns though | ukneonboy
08/11/2020 15:39 | Time at the bar?Holders of JD Wetherspoon (LSE: JDW) may want to look away from the pub chain's share price when it provides a trading update on the morning of 11 November.I can't see the numbers and outlook as being anything but bleak. After all, JD Wetherspoon already announced its first annual pre-tax loss since 1984 earlier this month. The recent introduction of curfews across many parts of the UK is unlikely to have improved the situation. News of the company needing to slash jobs, while not unexpected, doesn't bode well either.Like easyJet shares, the question to ask is how much of this is priced in. At half the price they were at the beginning of 2020, you might think 'quite a lot'. Moreover, analysts are expecting earnings to rebound massively in FY22, leaving the shares on a P/E of 13 (if you still pay any attention to forecasts).Neverthel | gozzie2
08/11/2020 15:36 | My best guess is this is the last national lockdown. It's now a case of whether further dilutive equity raises will be needed or not. | essentialinvestor |
