It is probably best to agree to disagree, but forgive me one last riposte (I am more of a technician than a fundamentalist): every stock that multi-bagged also made a 52-week high first.

(enjoyed the discussion)

"how can you retain any confidence"

You can say the same for 90% of the stocks that have multibagged. Dont overthink it, this is aim.

Fair comments Saucepan.

I still hold in the hope that they will deliver at some stage, but I understand evryones' scepticism.

If it comes off it will multibag for sure.

. . . but the point I am trying to stress is how can you retain any confidence in the veracity of that trading statement based on the patterns of the past?

As I say, I genuinely hope it does work out for those of you keeping the faith, but in current markets there seem to be far less risky ways to make good money.

Darwin is the issue trading update was very good + speculation on £35mil pa contract etc = share price should bounce.

Darwin offering a great entry, 8mil volume since the 1st of Feb, Darwin had 6.68mil left as off the 1st.

Bought 150k upto 13p will add more around 13p, expect it will move soon.

someuwin: I am a great admirer of your research and I do hope this comes good for you.

However, I also wonder how you can retain any faith at all in the "jam tomorrow" the Company promises.

I am not sure quite how far back one can go in demonstrating what seem to be serially misleading statements. I cannot be bothered to waste my time in trawling through every repeated RNS.

Nevertheless, a quick dip back into the history brings up the following by way of illustrative example.

RNS 26 December 2010!!

. . . the Group has intensified its efforts with those Governments that are more likely to be able to award significant contracts in the near future, particularly in the Middle East. The results of those efforts appear to be very close to fruition, with the expectation of several major contracts being signed in the first quarter of 2011, however we must again highlight the uncertainty of timing.

This is absolutely typical of the "form" that WSG has. The bit in italics is their "get out clause" - but was it really put there in good faith or was it a means to string the market along? And how long can people be strung along for?

Why has WSG never returned to these dangled opportunities and explained what has happened and why they never materialised?

I myself gave the Company the benefit of the doubt more than once, partly helped by chart technicals; but I have long since got past the stage where I would believe any so-called letter of intent or MoU that implies something is "imminent".

"Clearing up their last 6-7m !!!!!!!". There are c600,000 traded so far, so 300,000 each way ( buyers and sellers). To get to 6-7m would therefore take another 20 days or so ( assuming that every single share sold comes from them, which is completely implausible). But let us run with that, so twenty days, or one month of business days, of relentless selling pressure, price falling, and holders scared, and as it is at the moment, no news.

Good luck Canute

There's just no buying volume today and anything this morning I've seen has been sells. Darwin will be eyeing up Monday for another no news Monday wobble and what with the passage of another week in time that is another week closer to the 5 year Duck anniversary that G1TY has highlighted previously. What is the official date please?

Interesting morning with 13.25 p breached and no doubt there will be further Darwin short selling. It's being strangled by deeper pockets.
