Very quiet on here and very low volumes each day. Added a few this morning as I like the dividend here and see this as one of the few stocks which pays >5% dividend which also has good chance of capital growth as well.

People crystallising losses here due to lack of patience I think. Happy to hold for the 6.8% distributions here if nothing else.

If you will all forgive me but I am just starting some research here.

I can't see that any of their production is hedged but could someone confirm please?

Is the price they receive for their gas restricted in any way by government, corporation or location?

Any additional taxes kick in when gas price gets above a certain level?

How long are the licences?

Research Tree (hxxps://www.research-tree.com/) have a couple of broker notes out for WEN. The Cenkos one is paid, but the Auctus one is free if you register. 6% yield, strong cash position and also an ESG angle with gas replacing heavier fossil fuels. Lot to like here.

Persimmon also have a good divi yield of 8.2% and cash reserves of £1.3Bn.

Thank you and im on the look out for more high yield stocks. I was in RIO for the recent £4 but am not in at the moment but watching closely the price of iron ore. Will look at the other one you mention. Ta.

I, also have started to buy stocks with good dididends such as WEN, Steppe Cement (9.53%)and Rio Tinto (13.55%)

Hi all, started a little position with 12925 today. Im starting to transition my shares holdings from none divi stocks to divi paying stocks in o&g companies. This is the 3rd one im venturing in to after SEPL and DEC. See you all soon as I build a position here over the next 12 months.

Anyone tried finding out who the new Chairman is going to be? Nothing on RNS page that I can see. Perhaps it was announced as part of another title, although usually a change of Chairman merits its own RNS.

Bean leaves at the end of June. I seem to remember Bentley (Vice Chairman) is also one of a number of other departures.

Very strange Corporate governance. "Rudderless" comes to mind.

Any info appreciated. Even a question at tomorrow's AGM ....

And the only offer was 25,000 at 26p. Could it be that the persistent seller has now cleared?
