05/11/2018 09:38 | Phil, did you see the Moody's report on oil support services?, very bearish, sector debt unsustainable etc. Then to be fair to Weir, they are far more broad based?. | essentialinvestor

24/10/2018 11:17 | Don't blame you CC ;-) I'm averaged in just under 1700p and obviously came in much too early. | philanderer
24/10/2018 08:31 | Popping in to say I'm astonished at the share price. I sold all mine around 2000 and had 1700 pencilled in as a re-entry point. The oil price and weakness of cable put me off when it got there but 1400p? I'm going to have to have to think harder now. I still don't like the oil price, nor cable. I will sit on the sidelines for a bit. | cc2014

24/10/2018 07:35 | There goes the 1400p chart support. Next stop 1200p. That will now trigger some stops. Great share to short at the moment. -------------------- Market open: Antofagasta also narrowed its guidance, despite an increase in copper and gold production, which improved by 15% and 21%, respectively. In the three months to the end of September, gold output grew to 48,100 tonnes from 39,700 tonnes, with copper production rising to 188,300 tonnes from 163,200 tonnes. The miner now expects to produce between 705,000 and 725,000 tonnes of copper in the full year 2018. At the end of July, it anticipated copper output in a range of 705,000 to 740,000 tonnes. | philanderer

22/10/2018 17:34 | Dog of the day for my lot. This fella is not looking good at all. Chartwise, if 1450p goes , we're looking at 1400p then down to 1200p . No wonder plenty are dumping this one now. 19/10/2018 20:04 | What's happened to the charts on here? Checking my records, I see my average price for purchases in 2013 and l4 was £19.91 and that that there was a bid rumour in Mar 2015 at 25.50. I don't think I will risk any more; if they go up, I'll benefit but I don't want to lose more. My p/fs are looking very sick at the moment with more losses than gains. | bouleversee |
