Mine Cap - just north of 0.40...

the nav will get higher if MRI goes up.... there seems a few more trades in MRI today and any coal news will obviously be released via MRI first with hopefully a corresponding move up in the share price.

so at under 0.20p this is a no brainer IMVHO

M4, i deal with hard facts mate and that is that WET is trading at a huge
discount to its net asset value and have some potential huge news coming
on either AMD or COAL or both. Simples !! im thinking of starting a new
thread for watermark on here for serious investors troll free :-)

moreforus,cheers for doing the maths,i had a feeling our NAV had notably increased through this and have to say things are set up nicely here in my opinion.

Dont know if you saw my post earlier on the MRI placed shares ? i think
things are going exactly how watermark want ahead of the Coal project
going full tilt.

moreforus,dont forget they will also get a 1.1m rand bonus on these shares
aswell so its a win win what ever happens with the placed shares at MRI.
I make net asset value here now over 0.40p ??

cufes2,here we go again lol, see the text of the RNS carefully ! the shares
have traded above the placement prices since listing and watermark will win
both ways from this and also get a nice bonus.Its my opinion that whats
happened here has suited watermark to increase their stake and also get some
additional cash in process. Why have they traded above placement ???

Operations

The implementation of MRI’s Coal Briquetting project is progressing well and first production is anticipated by February 2013. The pilot briquetting plant will be moved to site in the next few weeks in order to commence production of sample batches for final off-take evaluation and specification. This information is required under the existing off-take agreement to enable potential consumers to evaluate the product. By implementing the pilot plant ahead of the main production facility, MRI will be in a position to assess market requirements and make final adjustments to the process before entering into full production.

Financing

Watermark signed a loan agreement with Trinity Asset Management (Pty) Ltd (“TAM”) as part of the capital raising process when listing MRI in June 2012. Under the loan agreement, TAM agreed to place approximately 105 million MRI shares by 12 September 2012 in order to repay the loan. Watermark also had the option of taking ownership of any of the MRI shares not placed by 12 September 2012 or to sell them. Should Watermark sell the shares at a value of more than R0.20 per share, Watermark would receive 50% of the additional value.

To date TAM has successfully placed approximately 25% of the shares at an average price of R0.193 per share, a R0.003 per share premium to the price of R0.19 at which they were valued for the purposes of the loan. The mid-market price of shares in MRI was R0.28 at close of business on 12 September 2012. In view of the fact that MRI shares continue to trade at a premium to their issue price, the placement date for the balance of the shares has been extended to 12 January 2013 (by which time the Company expects to have earned interest of R1.1million in total). TAM is proposing to place the balance of the MRI shares with strategic investors in South Africa but in view of the strengthening prospects of MRI and the price at which MRI shares are trading the Watermark Board will keep the position regarding the remaining MRI shares under review and may elect to take ownership of them. A further update will be provided as appropriate.

IF the coal briquetting project comes good then WET gets interesting . . . ATM it's untried and future revenues and profits are all conjecture . . . I'm wary ATM because MRI needed cash from WET and failed to sell 75% of the shares . . . why is that . . .

asixe,watermark said in a recent statement that MRI were commencing a Coal
Briquetting pilot project at end of september so this should now be underway
and up and running,my guess is we may hear in next update that the project
has been running and they have signed a number of OFF TAKE agreements with
various clients.One thing for sure is there is no shortage of tailings for
them to process as south africa is full of it and largely the cause of AMD.
Revenues and margins on this could be an eye opener IMO.

and they were proved right because it slumped to 0.10

Actually it's probably worth less than that but markets can stay irrational longer than moreforus can stay solvent
